Lounge 24 — Restaurant in Hamilton

VERY disappointed with the new ownership of this establishment. I used to be a regular and I went in with a friend, we each ordered one beverage. I was experiencing car problems and asked if we could keep our drinks at the bar while we attended to the issue. While we were away I received a charge for 40 dollars from the Lounge and so we went back to address this and close our tab. The owner let me know she had already closed the tab and I asked for the receipt which she couldn’t provide me, saying she didn’t know how to work the system. I told her I was concerned because we only had the two beverages and she claimed that other people must have ordered on my tab and that she would figure it out and give me a call. A couple days later I check my account to see if it’s been resolved and notice that the transaction went through for $60. No further explanation needed, so unprofessional to rob from your customer base, WORD TO THE WISE- GO ANYWHERE ELSE if you want to be charged properly for the...

This is an eclectic bar in downtown Hamilton. I've been a few times and it's a nice option. If you don't want to go to a noisy restaurant. The drinks are also pretty well priced and they have happy hour specials too. The bar itself is in an old bank and is two different levels. On some evenings they have live music so it's nice to have the quieter upstairs to sit in if you don't want to be right in the middle of the music action. Depending on what day of the week and time of the day you go, I've noticed the crowd is very different. Some evenings the crowd is your more typical married couples and younger couples with some groups of friends as well. This is a cute little old-timey neighborhood bar in Hamilton. There's a beautiful old fashioned bar staffed by super friendly and efficient young women bartenders. You can sit at the bar, or you can gather around one of the tables that can easily sit up to 10 people. Service is fast and efficient. This is a drinks only bar. No food. Occasionally they have nice live music. There are several outdoor tables along the glass front windows with the railing separating the tables from the street. There is plenty of street parking and also at usable after hours private parking lot next to the building. If you're looking for a place to meet up with friends after work or go for a drink later in the evening, this is a fun little relaxing place...
