Update March 2024 - so we have been going to Mad Mike's for 7 years during Cincy Con. Occasionally it's been a little off but previously never had a real complaint. I'm amending my rating of Mad Mike's to an overall 2 Stars. The burger was way overcooked but tasted ok.. the service was AWFUL and the dining room was dirty with sticky floors. We arrived at 7:50, some of our friends were already inside and had ordered, the front door said the dining room closes at 8:30, then we waited at the register with no acknowledgement until 8:00 when we got a "be with you in a moment" as someone walked by. At 8:08pm (I checked the receipt) we placed our order, after which we were told it's take out only the dining room was closed, regardless of the door saying 8:30, also they would not be providing any ice for our drinks since they weren't refilling the machine as the dining room was closed . When we questioned this they were extremely rude, so my disabled husband and I stood there, with our warm drinks, and waited for our order since we were not allowed to join our friends table. When the order was ready I figured I would munch on an onion ring while we waited for our friends to finish, but I wanted ranch to go with it so I went to the counter and was told "here but I know she told you our dining room was closed already." I will NEVER go here again and will be finding another dinner spot for our tournament guys to go to each year. I rec this place all the time for their burgers but the only rec I have for anyone reading this is to just not bother unless you are gonna go for lunch, maybe the day shift is nicer.
March 2019 - Amazing gourmet burgers for a great price. I bring a whole crew of people here every year during Cincy con and they handle the large crowds pretty well too. Definitely...
Read moreUsually have good experiences at mad Mike's but tonight not so much. We came in and was greeted by a sweet cashier who was new she was doing her best to learn everything. We seen they had a build your own salad advertised on the menu we asked the cashier what all ingredients we could pick from she wasn't sure so she asked the manager what we could pick from and how does she "ring it up". The manager tells her "we have everything" and you just type everything in. The cashier did everything he said to do we are waiting on our order wherever we hear the manager yelling at the cashier in front of all the workers and customers I felt so bad for her and the cashier is saying to the manager "I asked you what to do". The manager then yells to me and my boyfriend that he can't make the salad that all the stuff was extra not free. My boyfriend tells the manager we never wanted anything for free it says build your own salad for $4.99 but we will gladly pay the difference the manager continues to argue with him about the salad. I finally got mad and tell the manager to nevermind that it shouldn't be this much trouble for a salad especially when the cashier asked you how to ring it up. Very unprofessional and rude to yell at your employee Infront of customers and other coworkers and even more rude to insinuate a customer wants something for free and then argue with them when they attempt to pay the difference for whatever items that weren't free or included in the $4.99 price even though none of the ingredients are listed to even know what costs extra and what don't I don't think we will be back...
Read moreUpdate: Very unfortunate downturn for Mad Mike's. Entered just before 8 pm had friends who arrived a little earlier and had their food already. After being second order in line and seeing the people ahead of us get ignore for close to 10 minutes. When we got up to order we were coldly greeted and they told us carryout only because they need to close the eat in area at 8. We were told we could not sit with our friends and I am disabled and I needed to sit but could not. No ice available for drink machine. Very sticky floor, dirty tables everywhere and not just a few things left behind. Where things went bad too worst... I asked about Sunday service, because I had just lost a very close friend who loved going here to hang out when we went to Cincycon, and asked if they could handle about 30 -50 people throughout the service time coming to chat and remember him while ordering food. I was informed that everyone needed to be out by 30 minutes before closing, so I repeated the question and informed her why I was asking. She said probably not and to be sure to be gone by end of the time indicated. So thanks but no thanks I'll send my money elsewhere. Really hope this does not continue. They had good food good service, not the car any longer.
Phenomenal food. Great prices for the quality good you get. Staff was helpful. Place was clean. The menu is huge with actual variety I don't live close enough to go every week but work an hour drive once a month or so......
