Very nice lady at the register took my order and was helpful doing such. I ordered a Jr. Cheeseburger Deluxe and a drink from the fountain. Drink I chose was root beer and tasted somewhat watered-down but I suspect it's the fault of the machine being uncalibrated? The burger was barely lukewarm, lettuce should have been fresher, tomato slice tasteless and under-ripe. Barely any guests inside during noon lunch hour and at my time only a couple vehicles in drive up. Should I not expect more from Wendy's? I don't see why I shouldn't expect more. For the cost associated, I could've done much better. Just not what I remember of the Wendy's of my childhood....hot, juicy. Should I expect that I shouldn't get a great product even ordering a "JR.-sized" burger? Absolutely I should expect every single product I pay for as best as it can be. Why spend $12 on a full meal in the future if a sampling can't deliver? Times have changed, food and service cost more, expectations will not. Not my fault that costs and inflation have caused so much damage to the service industry but when we pay, we expect what we pay for. In this day of change, the guest will return where the quality and value are delivered. Competition during these times will need to stand well above to make it in food service. Loyalty is at a premium. Greater challenges? yes.......but do it or lose sales. No more...
Read moreI have never had a problem with this particular Wendy's...until tonight. My husband and I went through the drive through, to get food for us and our three girls. It was a rather large order. We like to have plenty of leftovers for a few more meals. After waiting in the drive through line for over five minutes, we were finally asked to pull forward, to wait for our food. When we finally got our food, we were missing two whole bags of food. We were missing two large fries and five junior bacon cheeseburgers. My husband went inside to get things straight. The employee making the food started arguing with the manager, claiming that she knew she put the food in the bag. The manager walked, with my husband, out to our car, to see the food we already had. I had to show her what we had and tell her what we didn't have. After we finally got all of our food, we get home to see that: some of our junior bacon cheeseburgers didn't even have cheese on them; the chicken wraps were thrown together and looked like soft tacos and the filling was falling out; and, to top it all off, there was no spoon for my husband's frosty. I will not be returning to this...
Read moreThese people just don't want to run a restaurant.
The systems here are down so often that you would think that there is a hacker devoted to harassing the place, not that any of the workers would ever tell you off the bat that they are down.
A few nights ago on 11/13/24 the workers were sitting on the curb outside the restaurant (pictured) and no one answered the drive-thru box for a whole 5 minutes. So I drove around to ask what's going on, just for them to tell me that "Wendy's was down" and they couldn't take any orders.
A few days later at the same time of day I was told that the systems were down and they could only take cash. This was the story again tonight. All occasions happening at 11PM.
The Wendy's across town never has these problems, and we're working fine on these very...
