Just had the worst service ever at Carraba's. After being seated, we waited 15 minutes before even being acknowledged. Not by our server, by a passing hostess. She tells us she's going to go get our server. 5 minutes later, our server comes to the table. We place our order. We get our drinks. She brought me the wrong drink, but whatever. We get bread. 20 minutes later, we get our salads. 15 minutes after that, we get our meals. We ordered fried mozzarella, never came. I mention it to the server, she blames it on the manager not bringing it out to the table. She takes it off the bill, and gives a 10% AARP discount. Food was lukewarm. We finish eating, and ask for to-go boxes. This is the one thing the server did well. We got them right away. I was never handed a bill. I picked it up off the table next to us, where she had laid it, then wandered off again. She finally comes back by, and takes my card and the bill. 5 minutes later, another server drops off one of the folder things and says 'this is here for you when you're ready.' I open it, and its empty. So another 10 minutes goes by and our server pops up at another table. At this point, im really annoyed, so when she's walking away from the other table, I call out "hey, can I have my card," and she just looks at me. Disappears for another 5 minutes and then comes back and tells me the other server dropped it off. I told her no, she brought me an empty folder and a pen. She starts looking on the freaking floor This is the point where I get angry. We sit there for another 5 minutes while she's looking for my card. Finally, the other server comes and drops it off. Read moreMyself myfriend and my God Daughter went for dinner on a Friday night and we waited in the restaurant which at the time was not busy at all, for twenty three minutes which was actually longer but that is when I started timing it before we were even greeted by our waitress. We proceeded to wait because she sat us at a very dirty table, so we sat at the table beside it and she said we couldn't switch tables to get up until she could clean it. She made us wait an additional five minutes to get supplies to clean the table. She walked away again. Mind you at this point we have been here for over half an hour with not even our drinks taken. She took the orders of two couples sat after us. By this time we were no longer happy customers waiting to celebrate my God Daughters graduation. Which this is the restaurant that she had asked that we go to. I finally had enough and said we weren't waiting any longer. We still had no drinks ordered and only saw our waitress to continue passing us by even though I said we were ready to order our drinks and meals. When we were walking out the door she followed us to the door held it open and asked if there was a problem. I simply replied she seemed to busy to handle more customers we would take out business somewhere else. She did not reply and we went out for sushi then steak that evening. Read moremy wife, my self and rest of my family have been regulars at this location for oh my gosh i don’t even remember how long but it’s been a long time. we have NEVER once had anyone else but Bill since day one! that is because he was/is the best! we once went in before his shift not realizing what time it was and they told us he wasn’t in yet and asked if we wanted someone else and we declined and left because like i said Bill was the best! the man remembered everything! we would sit down he would walk up and say “ you guys having the usual?” we really didn’t have to ask for anything he was that good! many time id let him know ahead of time we are on the way in to see him and to our surprise we would get there and he would have table set up already with drinks ready for us! this man was your best server! i truly believe that u guys will not find a better server to replace him! you made a huge mistake letting him go! the new manager clearly had a issue with his seniority there…. which is sad…… for this reason my family and my self will not be returning, which is sad because i loved the filets there…… but with out Bill it will never be the same. your best bet would to ask him to return with a apology and a raise for him. because of the new managers actions i guarantee you that this location will lose A LOT of business! we will not be back if he...
