El Rodeo — Restaurant in Hampden Township

This location is an ok spot for a quick lunch, would definitely opt for other options if you are looking for the whole dinning experience with drinks and all. Margaritas are very much watered down and even some of their tequila shots seemed water down to myself and the other people that came with me. The food prices are ok for the portions that you receive but I would not say that their meat quality and seasoning is top notch.

Have been here multiple times and I find that it is best to stick to something small and easy because the flavors really just tend to blend into one another. It is a good spot for lunch because it is never busy and like I said if you grab something small you can be in and out in 35-40 minutes or so.

Service is great, the attendants are polite and friendly and well spoken, the location is also nice and clean for the most part. Bathroom could have definitely used some cleanup but it is what it is. Stay away from the Margarita Flights, heavily...

Great service but we were there on a non busy week night. The restaurant is very dated and you can tell the managers do not pay any attention to details as there were many burnt out light bulbs in the dining room. Food was ehh Ok I guess but he Margarito's were enormous and strong! There were 4 adults in our party but we had to squeeze on to a smaller booth. There were many open tables that would have accomodated us better so I'm not sure if we're were Sat there just so we would be in a certain servers section to split up the parties.

Almost all of the portions are way too big and smothered with refried beans or rice. The menu seemed very dated like the restaurant was stuck in its ways and didn't want to try something different. It was very difficult to find something that was a lighter fare but I asked the server to modify my dish to make it a much lower calorie count.

I will take responsibility for my fault in my bad experience. The only menu item that didn’t list a sauce was the burrito ranchero. I apologized and asked if I could get a regular steak burrito, but they sent me another ranchero. I decided I wouldn’t make a fuss, but my first bite was a full bay leaf. That did it. I lost my appetite and l left unsatisfied and hungry. If it was just the kitchen that would be one thing, but our server ignored us to the point I had to flag her down when our app never came and we needed refills of our drinks. To top it off, there was no TP in the men’s or woman’s bathroom. It was nice to see the staff laughing and joking around when we walked in, but it turned out to be in spite of providing decent service.
