Arby's — Restaurant in Hampton

One of the worst spots in Hampton Roads. Better make the drive to Yorktown or one of the other locations.

There is always a backup for drive thru. It's a 50/50 chance if they are open at night like they are suppose to. This location wants banking hours of like 11a-5p or something. This is a fast food restaurant. They are suppose to have hours like other fast food chains do to at least 9pm at night. They are one of the slowest, sometimes worse than the bad hardees around the area. Order accuracy is trying to improve, but it's laughable if you will get fresh food. They judge you when you come up to the window for your order. You ask for condiments, they count it out like mcdonald's does. Mcdonald's charges for extra condiments while other places factor that into the pricing for the entree. They should be open on the inside by now for people to wear masks to pick up their food, but they refuse to.

Arby's is a bit higher priced anyways, but if you are giving me poor quality items for the price, like in most cases, people will go elsewhere. If people leave and keep having bad experiences, one of a few things will happen and I don't think the workers realize this. The place could get shut down due to the problems, everyone could be fired due to poor performance, etc. Look at Long John Silvers in the area. They all closed because the company felt those locations were underperforming and wanted to save money due to the pandemic.

Watch out if there is a long line for the drive thru. People sometimes get backed out onto the main road, so be careful in that right lane so you don't rear end someone.

Edit: Within a few minutes of posting this review, Arby's social media team did the response. If will make no difference giving more "details". Nothing will change at this location. It's just how people are around here. They give subpar work performances expecting...

I know we never take the time to say so anything unless we want to say something bad, but I have had enough. I have been going to Arby's here in hampton for years.... NOT the first time---- That said, of the last 3 times I've used this drive thru, it is a 10 - 15 minute wait for a cold roast beef sandwich and fries. That is with only 5 cars in line. The food is just terrible. When I pulled up to the window after 10 minutes of inching up to it, I waited 5 minutes only to be asked to pull ahead and they would bring my order out. As soon as she asked, she said never mind and gave me my order a couple of minutes later. Think about it... 15 minutes of wait to be told the folks behind are more important.. AND had I waited longer,, it still would have likely been a cold meal. My roast beef was hardly warm and the fries were cool and soggy. Not only gross, but dangerous for health. Threw it out and just made a sandwich. Done with arbys.. Look fwd to them closing.. update 8/6/22 All the reviews are essentially relative to the poor standards at this restaurant. AND then read the response from the owner For each review. Exactly the same for each review. FOR MONTHS... With zero effort to improve customer service or the ridiculously poor quality of their food. Just close that location before...

Food is good but service behind the counter was a lot of attitude and unorganized. I understand when we went the fries and potato cakes had to be dropped which was fine but while waiting all orders were filled at the front counter and the two girls at the register(one drive through one front cashier and manager on duty) were calling out multiple orders which is obviously confusing. This made me want to double check our order when we got ours and of course we were missing roastbeef and cheese sandwich as well as a large fries. When it was brought to theanager on duties attention, which was the cashier, she only said something about the sandwich so I asked if she had heard about the fries as well because I wasn't sure, she snarkly said I heard rolled eyes and turned. My other half asked if I was fine waiting for the rest of our order because he was tired of the attitude that was visible and vocal. When I got the rest of order with a smile on my face asked for sauces and thanked her and she returned it with a smile and your welcome. The only reason I am giving them two stars is because the male on the floor was very polite and had really good...
