Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Hampton

Staff is friendly enough, but cleanliness is an issue. Went today with friends, got two kids scoops in cup and milkshake. First issue: lady wet an orange cloth in the sink, used it to wipe the bottom of a tub she was replacing, did not wash or dry her hands, then as she reached over the get a scoop, I watched water from her wet hands drip in the vanilla ice cream. Second issue: lady sitting at a table eating a sugar cone took her half-eaten cone to the lady behind the counter and said something to her about it, then the lady behind the counter proceeded to take the half-eaten cone behind the counter and put another scoop of ice cream on top of the half-eaten cone. Last issue: there probably shouldn't have been a last issue, because I should have left after seeing the first two, but I went on and got two scoops of kids size ice cream in a cup that I had ordered, I'm standing at the register eating my ice cream waiting to pay, and I noticed a hair in my ice cream. I thought it was just a small eyelash, but when I pulled it out, it was a long black hair in the pralines and cream scoop. I got a refund, but passed on more ice cream. I felt bad for the lady behind me who was watching this all take place, especially when she realized she got pralines...

There were 2 people there. The young man apparently was new I think and the young lady never acknowledged my presence. She was cleaning and never stopped to help another customer came in and she stopped to help. I cant say it was racial but I can say it was very very very rude and bad customer service. It was so bad I didn't say anything but the customers that were there when I walked in couldn't hold it in. They ended up letting her know she wasnt right. And basically she said she didn't care. I wont say I wont return I'll just say you're lucky my favorite ice cream (Pralines and cream) only taste good at...

I promise you this location has to be famous for the worlds smallest scoops. It's the size of a golf ball.... PERFECT too. You might want to download a coupon to make the trip worth your while. I thought it was just me the first time I went so I gave them another try with my husband and kids and no it wasn't just me and it wasn't just that one time it's their norm another customer was also complaining. I had to look and make sure they weren't running out of ice cream and giving small portions to make it last. NO they were fully stocked. I mean really it's 3.00 for one scoop so no need to...
