Hibachi — Restaurant in Hampton

I don't ask much, for the food to be made hot and spicy with extra sauce over the rice, the last 5 or so trips since my departure in March. They can't even get that right. I get home rice dry as ever, no extra sauce. Like I work out of state and I don't have access to decent Chinese and to think the first place I want to come to is there. NEVER AGAIN, then I call to say order is messed up once again they hang up on me. Let's talk about it, Their prices have went up to include less. The lunch special is just meat and just plain fried rice, compared to other available options white rice, fried rice and at minimum pork fried rice is an option. There is usually a charge for chicken or shrimp which is fine , then some offer drink or egg roll or drink or soup or any one of the three. So at this point there is no true bang for your lunch special buck here at all. I'm pretty sure with a little searching you cam find another chinese restaurant.YOU HAVE TRULY LOST A LONG STANDING CUSTOMER AND I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANOTHER PERSON TO GO...

Best. Chinese. Food. Ever! I haven't had Chinese food this good since, well, ever! I tried this place on a whim and I don't think I've actually ever been able to taste fried rice until now. THE ACTUAL RICE HAS FLAVOR! Not just whatever is in the rice. And oh my Zod, oh my Zod, the shrimp egg rolls! The shrimp egg rolls are the bomb! I haven't liked egg rolls in years, due to most restaurants making them rather small, with little filling, and no flavor. But these shrimp egg rolls are thick, and with so much goodness in them my taste for egg rolls has been restored! In addition to the pork and shrimp fried rice being on point! I know this is a five star rating system but damn I wish I could give this place ten stars! This is my new go-to Chinese restaurant! And I am definitely recommending this place to everyone I know, in addition to in the future be using it for parties, film nights, and stay in date nights. My advice, if you think you've ordered enough, order extra because it's just that good! Like I said, best...

If there was a zero star rating, Hibachi Carryout located at 2040 Coliseum Drive, Hampton, VA would receive it. The young oriental lady was totally unprofessional, rude and uncouth, to say the least after placing my lunch order of shrimp egg foo young.

After I received my order, the patties didn't have any shrimp in it; the brown rice was burnt and the brown gravy was runny; lack the consistency of gravy and it had a sour taste to it. Needless to say, it was totally disgusting!

After sampling it, I asked for a full refund of my monies paid which is total out of character. However, the young lady told me, "Everybody loves our shrimp egg foo young!" Newsflash: I am not one of "them." She also said, "Don't come back here again!" Trust me, I won't. I have yet to receive my refund after she slammed my receipt on the counter.
