Please Note: I came on off night. The Google description claims this is a "Country-themed bar & eatery with a mechanical bull, serving pub grub & drinks in spirited surrounds.". I would not call this an eatery by any stretch of the imagination. "Country Themed Bar" is used pretty liberally as well as it's less a bar more a club.
Walked in the "Bar" to find it being used for a Cornhole tournament. Not a problem. Nowhere to sit. Problem. Walk up to the "Bar" to order some food and beer much to the surprise of the woman behind the counter who we mistook for a bartender. Get handed a menu for the "Guy Fieri" Pizza place next door, but isn't actually next door as it's in reality the same building (with two different names). Don't worry, it gets weirder. We also get told if we want drinks we have to go next door to the bar (in the Guy Fieri Pizza area). Should have left then and there, but we persisted.
Walked to the "Bar" in Guy Fieri's Pizza. Asked for a pitcher to which the actual bartender informed us "we don't do that here". I pointed to the taps and pitchers and asked what those were then? The bartender basically mumbled something, proceeded to show us tiktok/instagram videos on his phone (no, I'm not making this up) then offered us bottles. Should have left then and there, but we persisted.
Got some bottles of whatever, and studied the menu. This is why I say calling this an eatery is a stretch like no other. The pizza menu has to be the most pathetic insignificant menu I've every witnessed. You have a selection of a few different pizzas, and a couple of flavors of wings (I think there's a photo of in the pictures). The menu is basically non-existent. The wings were actually pretty tasty, but much like our entire experience the pizza was pretty friggin sad for what we paid. There's no other food. The pictures of burgers, nachos, etc do not apply to this business. These guys are capitalizing on a business that's no longer here.
You'd think with names like PBR and Guy Fieri you'd roll into a heck of a bar with some killer grub, but it's the...
Read moreHonestly wish there was an option for less than one star. The service here was not only disrespectful but degrading as a paying customer and resident of this community. In my multiple years of living in Hampton, VA I have never experience service like the one I experienced here at PBR of Hampton. Upon arrival, there were only about 6 people already being serviced at the time. We had a party of about 11 patrons, eager to be serviced here considering we have attended many times before with no issue. However, our time here quickly changed from excitement to dismay. Upon being seated at the bar, we were asked to show forms of identification which we had no problem with at all considering we were all over the age of 21. Everyone else in the party seemed to pass the identification checks with no issue except for one of the people in our party who is actually well over the age of 21. Keeping this in mind there should be no issue right? No, from here this led to being questioned not once but three times about the validity of the Id, once again of the person who was well over the age of 21. We were treated as if we were less than, blatantly disrespected, undermined, and discriminated against all the way until we were literally WATCHED while we were walking out after deciding to leave. Other experiences during our short time here included, one of the guests in our party being tapped on his chest in a way that crossed multiple boundaries, being very confrontational for no apparent reason at all and much more. As stated at the beginning of this review, this was very disheartening considering that before this experience we were regular customers of this establishment, but due to the treatment we experienced on 3/22/2024, we would be remised to ever be a customer at this place again. We hope that you all will take heed of this terrible experience and use it as a learning lesson for how you all as a business can do better in making ALL paying customers feel welcome and also how to move forward with conflict resolution...
Read moreOn 3/23, I was assaulted by security for simply trying a request a lyft home. It was pouring raining so I stepped inside for a few seconds to request a car my phone wasn't calibrating. So I stepped inside for a few seconds to dry my phone so I can request a lyft. Few seconds of me trying to get a car, the security lunged at me and it was completely unwarranted. I told him "you don't have to touch me, it's completely unneccesary" and it turned into him just screaming in my face. As I left he lunged at me 3 to 4 different times additionally while leaving the building. I wasn't a threat all I was doing was requesting a lyft and was physically and verbally assaulted by the security for no reason. Of all of this that went on, there were people still going in and out of the building with no issues but for some reason I was singled out and assaulted by the security multiple times. As I still was trying to request my lyft he opened the door to still scream at me, meanwhile I'm on a public side while it's raining to sort out getting my lyft. He screamed at me telling me he was going to make sure I got arrest if I didn't leave. All of it was just unwarranted just for trying to request a car home. I will be making a police report and I'm 100% pressing charges. I've been reading reviews I'm not sure if it's the same security guard but it looks like he has a history of being aggressive towards patrons and putting his hands on people unwarrantedly. For the experience I went through, I will be escalating this issue.
Update: was able to get in contact with the manager and director made it seem as though they were concerned but ghosted me after I wanted the security guard that assaulted me information. They so called were "investigating" the incident but I highly doubt it. It's sad to see that a man that attacked me unwarranted and multiple times when my back was turned literally is being protected and can walk off with no...
