The Alley — Restaurant in Hampton

The atmosphere Saturday was amazing ! And it was only because of the DJ and the fact i was here for a class reunion. But the security is next level rude and disrespectful for no reason put hands on me and carried me out the club and overall truly escalated my night for no reason. I believe he injured my back cause it’s been sore since. And cause of how he picked me up. Like it’s Cool that they have a once you throw up you have to leave policy, where i live that is not a thing especially if you do it in a trash can. But when enforcing it you think they’d treat you like a human being. The crazy thing is i was very much coherent. Standing and was going to get some water because i had ate some of the fries i got from there and it started making my stomach queasy….. threw up in a trash can that was right in front of me while waiting on my water….. the lady whispered to a security guard which i didn’t realize what was happening until two security guards walked up to me saying i had to leave. I asked numerous times why and nothing was said on why they just kept repeating you have to leave cause she said you have to leave. I look at her and i clicked so i asked if it was cause i threw up. And he says yeah. Like why you couldn’t just say that. Being hostile for no reason. My best friend was at the section we were at and had my car key , I’d and card i literally asked them if i can go get my stuff from my friend and dude kept saying no. Then im like yall can literally walk with me but i need my stuff. And dude kept being rude saying no i gotta go then tried grabbing me that’s when i got mad because you don’t have to put hands on me im not yelling im not being rude im talking calmly like you wanna have a power trip for what ? Then walks up behind me and grabs me to carry me out. Very ghetto is all imma say. I get the area it’s in you gotta be on your toes but learn how to read people and how to just be with people. Like you don’t even know i knew people there that’s the sad part. When it came time to get dudes name nobody wanted to help. That’s cool imma call and...

It was a fun okay experience for the most part, was my friend and i’s first time going but not positive on going back .. the music was nice .. the people were cool for the most part .. not gonna lie there was some people in there that was crossing some boundaries .. but we met some really down to earth ladies .. not understanding the dress code though .. had to remove my leather jacket with no pockets by a staff member when we arrived .. unless they had people who would hide things in their jackets .. but there was a couple people in there with jackets on so I wasn’t quite fond of why I was asked to remove mine but wasn’t going to let that stop me from enjoying my night cause it’s petty .. and the officers making people exit the parking lot as soon as its closing time is a set up for a DUI in my eyes and I definitely was not falling for that one .. one officer was really nice and understanding though and he waited with us for a few minutes so we can call a ride that way we don’t get pulled over and get home safely .. there was a few tweaks but we still enjoyed ourselves .. i don’t think we will go back...

I'm going to be honest. This place is like 2 parties in one. There were two sides, and yes one side was filled with dancing, food, and is always packed out and hype to the max, but there was another side. The Abar side was much different. It was smooth and much less packed out. There were wraparounds to sit in and watch sports and such on the large flatscreen tv's that were all around. I find myself going to the ABAR side to drink, then back to the other side to dance a few, and then I go back to the abar side to cool down. MUSIC is excellent, and there are alot of haters up here, cause the truth is the alley is ALWAYS bumping on saturday nights. Wednesdays is a slightly younger crowd but still packed. Get there early, or pay and wait in line..simple as that. SEE you there along with several of the other people up here that have written negative reviews because they didnt come dressed correctly or got there late expecting to get in...
