Was here april 11th at 1027 ordered my usual which was three chicken snack wraps before my second shift. Got to the register at 1031 to pay for my order found out they will not make your food until you pay for it. Well I waited as there was no cashier and I only had cash. I waited a tad. My coworker was there and he also only had cash. Well he left all the items behind called the business ridiculous and said this wasn’t the first time they done this. Leave the registers unattended and left as he didn’t want to be late. I asked the cooks if they knew where the cashier was it was already 1035 by the time I paid I waited til 1046 and left announced I was leaving, I apologized and just wanted a refund the one employee stalled I explained I didn’t want to be late for my shift was told to give them 3 more minutes. I said sorry again and left haven’t returned for the food or refund since also got to work 10 minuted late I had to go through security and two different buildings to clock in. From the time I put in the order and got the print out that food should have been prepared and ready to cook. I can understand the busy day. but that shouldn’t be an excuse why the front cashier was missing due to the amount of people that were in. Read moreRude PM shift cashier. The cashier working by herself on Thursday March 14, 2024 at 6:43pm could not have been more negative and rude. I was paying for coffee when I inserted my credit card. The screen read to remove the credit card, but apparently it did not go through, so I tapped my credit card on the 2nd try. The rude cashier said it did not go through, so I tried again by inserting my credit card and the screen read remove card, and it went through. The line behind me started to build up, so I apologized to the man behind me and said to the cashier that there is something wrong with their credit card machine because it was wasting our time. On my way out she yelled at me that "it was not her problem, it was your (mine) problem" I came back inside and asked for the manager so I can complain about how rude the cashier was but she just pointed at a picture on the wall. The Manager in the picture is named Lauren was not at the Wawa at the time. I drove home and called the Wawa Isaac answered the phone and was apparantly the supervisor on duty I told him what happened with the rude cashier and he offered an apology. you should rethink your staff, unfortunately. loudmouth lady with blonde hair, glasses and pink wawa visor was being inappropriate and all of them working the night of 7/14 around 11pm were all loudly talking about wanting to leave and gtfo in front of about 6 customers.
I heard loud lady say that someone ordered a family size mac and that everyone else that ordered it was screwed so I knew she was gonna ask me what I want instead which she did but then I heard her say they dont have backup because its frozen... I'm sure there's some kind of protocol to avoid that, like maybe make sure there's thawed out backup so you don't have to ruin someone's order after theyve already paid for it.
