Hanover McDonalds needs some improvement. This is the busiest but the absolute worst McDonalds anywhere. I moved to Hanover a year ago and have been in here several times. I have had to go back on nearly every occasion when I have had food cooked to get them to redo my order. I have gotten the manager involved on a few occasions and EVERY time he is abrupt, does not listen properly as a manager should and has always made me feel like it was my fault. The people are generally friendly but being as busy as it is, I can see how things can get messed up. That is NOT an excuse for good customer service. Generally: Your "diced" (really dehydrated) onions are and always have been DISGUSTING. Please switch to 100% slivered onions. There are numerous complaints about how you guys "build a burger" (one side of your bun is ALWAYS naked..??? and other menu items that leave a lot to be desired ((1/2 slice of cheese on your filet o fish. WHY? How much do you really save? Is it worth it just to have that extra money to make food that is less than advertised and less quality than what you used to be known for?) Busiest McDonald's I have ever seen, but they really need to get a clue on how to manage the public and actually get the food 100% correct (not 95%, not 80%, but 100% correct. No attitude regardless of the attitude of the customer. Just make things right and don't make your customers feel ashamed, or worse, like it was their fault. As a senor citizen, the days of good customer service and pride/quality of the output product has just gone down the drain. It's all about the money and cranking the customers through the store and drive thru. What a sad testament to the legacy of McDonalds and to our current generation running things. I will continue to go here but I also will continue to complain as appropriate.

Then when I got to order the persons was so confused or doing to many things that I got halfway through my 35.00 order and she told me that I just need to order and fix thing when I got to the pay window.when I did that it took forever and she still confused everything I needed up paying for an extra 20 piece nugget that I didn't want . Then I paid and and was waiting for my change and she kept looking at me for five minutes wondering why I was still there and then asked me why I was still there I told her it's because I never received my 6.00. Change. Then she argued with me telling me she gave it to me and I told her I didn't receive a cent . Then I got to the revive my order window and when I got there is when I found out I was charged for and got an extra 20 piece and then my order was wrong and I was missing a fry and and my 2 Big Macs . So I finally got them and I received my mcflurry . My mcflurry was almost only half full which I took a picture of which I guess I can't add a photo here. This whole process took 45 minutes my fries were cold and everything else needed heated up. And my Big Macs had no sauce on them . This is the worst quality of food. Read moreThis used to be my favorite McDonald's in town for years and most used since it was close to work and home. But lately it has gone down hill. 2 weeks ago in the drive through my bank card was not accepted by the manager because it had 2 cracks from being in my wallet. I have used the card in that condition there 40-50 times I explained. She said she will make a note that it doesn't get used again. The strip, my name, card number, and signature were all completely in tact and I offered to present my ID. Still was turned down. Second I have been using the mcds app, with no luck, due to the lack of training from the staff. Other McDonald's have just credited the coupon if they couldn't figure it out to avoid back up. But this cashier said I could use the coupon because she didn't know how to operate the scanner, after I explained there's a code she can just punch in, she said she couldnt punch in codes. I asked for management to help, after having to explain to her what I was trying to do, only wanted my mccafe drink credited to my punch card, she finally figured it out.
