Chinatown Kitchen — Restaurant in Hanover

I had my partner place an order and I picked it up on my way from work. When I got home, I realized that my order was incorrect. We attempted to call and tell them our order was wrong and we just wanted the right food. They told us we made the mistake not them. We then brought the food back to the restaurant and stated that we received the wrong order. We didn't even ask for a refund at this time. My partner was then screamed at in the restaurant in front of everyone. It would be different if my partner raised their voice or got belligerent, but that was not the case. I paid money for food I never received and the restaurant refused to offer any help in remedying the situation. We brought the food back and still they would not work with us and just yelled. It was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Be warned if you have a dispute with this place they will take your money, yell at you and call you stupid for even attempting to fix a mistake that...

We want to support local businesses, so I hate to write a negative review. Maybe we just hit things at a bad time. The vegetable egg roll I ordered was tasty enough, but the crust was overdone and too hard. The egg drop soup was fine. The white rice was properly done with my wife's chicken and vegetables, but she did not care for the taste of the entree and didn't bother to save the leftovers. I had the General Tso's chicken. It is labeled on the menu as spicy, but it was actually quite mild. That's fine with me, and I found it quite tasty. The pork fried rice that comes with it was good too. The problem is that the chicken was inedible. It was so tough and stringy that I truly could not eat it. (For a little extra, they offer a "White Meat General Tso's Chicken." I got food here for the first time 2 days ago, thinking I would try a new Chinese place. I saw they had been open 32 years so they must be good right? So wrong. I ordered the General Tso’s chicken with a side of extra sauce, a pork eggroll, and an order of crab wontons. The wontons were sub par but the chicken was horrible and tasteless. I knew as soon as I put the bag in my car and could smell the food. I knew it smelled oddly different than any other general tso’s chicken I’ve ever had.
