Kula Bowls — Restaurant in Hapeville

WOW! I was absolutely blown away at how fast I fell immediately head over heels in love with this place and these people. First impression was a typical acai bowl trip. My friend had been here before so she knew about the Monday special $10 for a bowl of acai. I’m already in the door at the sound of that for sure. But for $10 Angie made me hands down the best Acai bowl I’ve ever had in my life. This is the Angie bowl. This bowl is so good I want to tell everyone about it. It perked my mood up so crazy, yall. I took two three bites inside and walked out grinning ear to ear. You can’t get this on the menu though, don’t try to order it. Its got cookie butter on it yall. But be yourself and get creative. I think that’s what shocked me most is that this bowl is passionate, thoughtful, creative & absolute magic. When Angie walked in I immediately knew that was what time it was and she delivered. Its hot as i don’t know what out there man. We’re about to go sit by the pool and eat this acai man. If you want to have an amazing perfect wonderful summer day. Get some acai from Icey Chicks...

The acai bowls are not as good as when they started. The quality of the granola has gone down. It's too crunchy and hard. As far as the avocado toast, I was eating it on Kroger bread instead of a healthier option like pita bread or Ezikial bread. They do not have different options of frozen fruit bases. And the customer service could be a little better especially from the young lady with the long black hair. I have been visiting Icey Chicks since they started. The bowl that I ordered was not to my liking. I would never give a bad review. The bowl that I purchased yesterday was not as excellent as when @IceyChicks started. Kinda hard to find. Located inside of a drugstore. Was looking forward to trying it out; arrived at 8:40, waited 20 minutes for them to open but they didn't. Left at 9:10 (after calling) The place was open, but empty during business hours. Pharmacy employees had no idea where the owner was. No note, not answering the phone.. nothing. Finally gave up. Left at 9:15. Went elsewhere.

As stated by the owner. I am not rating the food. I am rating the business. It's more than product, it's service. I expect a business to be there when open, leave a note, answer the phone or tell someone what's going on. Simple...
