How something can be simultaneously burned and rubbery soft at the same time is a new feat that only THIS Dunkin location has managed to achieve. As someone who is from the east coast and grew up on DD, this location in Harker Heights has to be the absolute worst I’ve ever had the misfortune of wasting money at. There hasn’t been a single time where they have remembered cream cheese when a bagel & cream cheese is ordered & we have not had to go back to the counter and ask for it again… The seasonal donuts are ALWAYS “sold out”. The cashiers have never once had a good attitude, today they were simply asked what kind of breakfast meats they had in a wake up wrap, and the deadpan, eye rolling reply of “sausage… bacon… turkey sausage…” should have been ended with a “duh” with the amount of expressionless teenage sarcasm dripping from the end of the sentence. We also ordered a cold brew coffee with 1 light splash of a flavor. Iced coffee came as a syrup drink with a splash of coffee. Even the label said “2 pumps” of whatever flavor… they don’t listen very well do they? The bagel was probably the worst I’ve ever eaten from there, and I order a bagel at every dunkin I patron. It tasted like unmixed yeast, burned everything topping, cold rubber tire, & soured cream cheese all at the same time, which I never thought was possible! Do yourself a favor, drive to another donut shop… ANY OTHER donut shop, anywhere in the whole tri-state area just to be certain you avoid this horrible excuse for a shop. This store alone gives the whole Dunkin chain a bad name. Hopefully they open a better one in Temple, TX & shut this one down, or fire everyone on staff and start over trying to salvage their...
Read moreEdited review. I used to really enjoy this location until I realized their morning manager is completely disgusting, and they are putting everyone at risk of getting sick. I was literally the 3rd order of the day she was already rude, proceeded to mess up my order completely. The drink I received was also just hot coconut milk. I ended up going back to receive a refund at which time her and a "shift manager" were upset that I was not ok with paying for their stale donuts, missing items, and hot coconut milk that was supposed to be a macchiato. They demanded I provide them with the drink (that my mouth already touched) and the donuts ( which I also already touched. Hence why I noticed they were stale.) I had the stuff with me and that was fine... But its actually against food safety protocols to take back drinks or food through the window. I offered to throw it away for them up front where they could see me where they refused and were being vindictive. Took my food back through the window, and proceeded to touch the work station and all the cash inside the register, pretty much throw my refund at me, and then helped customers all without washing her hands. How many times do they mess up orders? Treat the customer they wronged like trash? And then refuse to follow safety protocols just to be vindictive? Its been 4 days and now I am running a low grade fever and have a cough. How many people are being put at risk due to poor management??? Never again. I hope the health dept...
Read moreI've avoided sharing this about the Harker Heights location but today put me in a bad mood. I come to this location frequently because I live close by and today I was really thirsty and hungry from not eating all day. Usually around 3:30-4pm they are always out of the refreshers so I today asked if they were out vs. them telling me they're out. I was shocked they had one flavor available still. I also ordered two (2) orders of the plain mini bagels I like even though they are overpriced. So I paid $10 for a large drink and two orders of the mini bagels and made the mistake of checking my order when I got back to work from my lunch break. To my surprise I find two (2) orders of the mini omelets instead of the bagels. I was so hungry that I just went ahead and ate them even though it was cold. I was really looking forward to them because I like them but most times the don't even have them towards the end of the day. This location needs to get their act together because I've been visiting the nearby Taco Bell more often because it's cheaper and I don't think they have ever told me their out of stock on something that they advertise. BTW, as you can see on my receipt, it shows what I ordered but still was given the wrong food item. I gave this location two stars because I still ate...
