Hooters — Restaurant in Harlingen

Its very unfortunate that this restaurant keeps dropping in stars and their service is reflecting exactly that. The waitresses seem to focus more on pleasing tables full of men rather than families or couples. Waited over 20 mins to have someone take my order, and still no one ever came. Kindly walked up to the manager upfront and requested a waitress be assigned to our table and they still never came! My party decided to walk out as the waiting became ridiculous. As we walked out we notified the waitress signing in new customers. This waitress (blonde girl for manager review) wasn’t pleasant and just stated, “ok, I’ll let them know” which clearly does not solve the issue right there and then.

As professional as we remained I honestly wanted to tell her they run the risk of losing business to upcoming wing restaurants in Harlingen. Clearly they wouldn’t care, as long as they keep getting their tips. However, I feel management should enforce better greeting and order times. The girls need to be on top of it as soon as new customers arrive. In the end we drove to McAllen Hooters. We’ll see how their service is.

Hey, what a terrible experience. So we get into Hooters and we’re seated. It’s just me and another person I ordered the sliders. I wanted to chicken and two beef no cheese on the beef. My friend ordered 10 roasted chicken wings. That was it. It wasn’t very busy maybe a total of eight tables. And we both ordered a beer to drink. So we ended up waiting almost an hour for our food and they just bring my food the sliders they’re cold. So I was at this point just like whatever but I noticed on the beef ones there’s cheese and I told her no cheese so I eat the chicken ones and I tell her and she said she’s going to put in another order for the two beef ones without cheese, and then she tells my friend after an hour of waiting that they don’t have any roasted wings in stock after he waited an hour. At this point he was like well we’re gonna be leaving soon, so I guess I’m not gonna order anything so we waited another 45 minutes for my two sliders which never came. They wouldn’t even comp us our beer for the two hour waiting. And we each had two beers. They acted like they were doing us a favor by removing the food from our ticket even though my friend didn’t get his, and I never got my...

Horrible service, our server Karissa did little to nothing servicing our table. One person ordered an appetizer for their meal to eat with the others and stated to please bring it with all the regular food orders. Karissa brought the order out as an appetizer 15 minutes before all the other food came out. One person asked for no cheese on their sandwich, and then the sandwich came out with cheese melted on it. Karissa never asked how food was, never asked if drinks needed refills, never asked if we wanted dessert, never cleaned our empty plates off the table and on and on. Never thanked us for choosing to go there, spend our money there, which we will NEVER do again! If you read the other poor reviews here, they all center around poor service and bad waitresses. Then the owner sends the exact canned response to everyone with no effort to resolve anyone's issues, just the old "hope you give us another chance" response.
