Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Harlingen

Today will surely be a day remember at Jersey Mike’s. I planned a social gathering with a buddy of mine for lunch, and upon arriving, I noticed an employee in the back leaning over a vehicle screaming at his phone. As I pull around the restaurant to park, I walk in and was greeted with a smile and friendly faces. While I was waiting for my food to be done on the grill side, I was extremely disturbed by a loud banging noise. The employees all turned towards the back of the store as if they knew where it was coming from. As it turned out, the same employee who was outside and very disturbed finally made a appearance. He entered the rest room, walked back out after couple minutes and again there was loud banging in the back of the restaurant. The employees in the front seemed extremely bothered. A young lady who ordered even said out loud she would rather have her food to go because it seemed there was bigger problems the employees had to deal with. The employee in the front who mentioned his name was Rob apologized for the inconvenience and told her to enjoy the rest of her day. Other than what seemed to be an upset employee, the food was amazing and restaurant was very presentable to the point where another employee who was in the front wiped our tables down before we sat to eat. I absolutely look forward to dining in for some great food, but hopefully next time there won’t be any employees raging around the store with loud banging noises again so I can enjoy my food next time. 2•16•25 came in for the first time for late lunch it was very tidy, staff very friendly ok now as far as the food it's is expensive for a sandwich they don't have combos because everything sold separately the sub is good and well served the only thing it's just maybe me too much bread it is pretty thick and I'm not a fan but it is good don't get me wrong. I had a chicken bacon ranch hot sammich, and hubby had a cold sammich like a club, but everything is pretty fresh. On my sammich, the lettus was a bit wilted, and they covered it up with the ranch that was a no for me, but I took it out. I prefer nice Green Salad and not White or Yellow that time has passed. That irritates me. Anyways, we gave it a shot. It was good, will we come back? Yes, maybe I'll order a foot long and cut half and share. idk...

A new sub-joint is in town. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, which is typical for openings. The deli setup is a change, but be patient with the small seating area. It has just opened, and there will be a rush during lunch hours. We ordered large: #13 Original Italian, which has been the best I have compared to other sandwich joints. #7 Turkey & Provolone, which you can never go wrong with. We will try their grilled options on another visit since there was a wait for those. Cooking may add a slight wait time.
