Mikey's Pizza & Shots — Restaurant in Harlingen

Our first time, very POOR customer service!! as we entered we looked around for a table, none.. we weren’t greeted, so we just waited looking around. Finally customers told us the menus were up on the tv screens only, (just great.. I forgot my glasses) so I ask my family, what kind of pizza do they have.. we moved up to the bar and ask how we order. The customers again said “we have to place the order at the bar.” So we’re standing there behind the customers sitting at the bar , shouting our order behind them. All I kept thinking was how ridiculously Rude this situation was. I personally would not like to be sitting at the bar with someone hovering behind me to be placing orders. Finally sat outside with my kids, it was 50°s - very cold.. couldn’t even see the football play-off game, that was currently on.. because they had skiing and golf, on the only 2- tvs they had & inside only. We got our drinks, then pizza, no plates, no napkins, no refills, nothing.. like I said poor customer service. As a New opened establishment I excepted better communication with customers, especially as customers walk in. Inform us how things work. There was also a group of 3 families, with babies, who all left, because of the lack of service. Your better off with Peter Piper pizza (Pizza). Don’t recommend this place to anyone,...

Arrived,1st time trying the place, upon entering was not greeted,we sat down and waited for 5 minutes.(poor customer service) decided one of us would go up to the bar and ask how we order. One of the workers said we have to place the order at the bar. 🤔 Ok so while there are people sitting at the bar we're supposed to stand behind them, read the menu and place our order. 😏 As a customer if I happen to be sitting at the bar I wouldn't want anyone hovering behind me to place an order. Needless to say, if this happens not to be the process, then I don't know what to tell you, because again, as I said, there was poor customer service. We have been ordering pizza to go from this place at least once a week for the last month. Wow! The ingredients are so fresh, with several unique choices for toppings! The cauliflower crust is really good, too! My husband doesn’t like cauliflower, but we’re trying not to eat bread, and this hits the spot, even for him! We’ve never stayed to hang out, just pick up, but it’s usually pretty busy, and looks like it has games there that can be enjoyed by families. Great ambience! So happy with this new addition to our amazing Harlingen...
