I read the reviews before I decided to patronize here. The negative reviews were spot on. Not sure how long they have been open but the owners need to go back to the drawing board. We opted to order online and pick up. The online ordering process was easy to navigate. When I went inside, my first impression was not that this was a fresh new business. I knew from the previous reviews that the setup was confusing. I walked in and immediately walked up to what appeared to be the kitchen/cooking/waitress/prepping/and take out area all in one. It was a mess. There was no signage to indicate protocol and no person to direct incoming guest. I see my name and grab my order. The bag was tapped closed, so I open it to make sure my entire order was accounted for. An employee walks up and asked me if it was my order, I said yes. He says, "you're supposed to give your name, can you move your bag over there to check your order?" His tone, pissed me off. Points deducted for customer service. "Over there" meant the cluttered counter/table that the 2 small tablets for incoming guest to place their own orders for dine in, the same counter where you grab napkins, utensils and numbers for inside dining. It looked a hot mess and there was barely any space for me to sit my bag to check my order. Fast forward, I get home, everything looked really good. My daughter had the bang bang shrimp tacos, she said they were good. My husband had the steak burrito. He said the flavor was there but there was barely any steak. I had the birrea tacos. They were good, not the best I've had but good. The birrea sauce was bland. I also ordered the chips/Apps Trio. It came with Pico, cheese dip and guacamole. The guacamole was chunky and acidic like it had not been refrigerated. The pico was mostly tomato, no flavor. The cheese sauce was BURNT tasting. We couldn't even eat it. Looks good in the picture, but it was obvious they scrapped the pan to save the top layer, but the burnt fumes were embedded. Not sure if I'll go back. I'm thinking they need to figure out what they are doing wrong being a new businesss with such low score reviews.

**5-Star Review for Talkin Taco** ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Talkin Taco is an absolute gem that has quickly become my go-to spot for all things taco! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a vibrant atmosphere. The decor is colorful and welcoming, making you feel right at home. Now, let's talk about the tacos! Each one is a masterpiece. The flavors are bold and authentic, transporting your taste buds. I highly recommend the Caribbean steak tacos—grilled to perfection and bursting with juicy flavor. The tortillas are soft and pillowy, a perfect complement to the fresh ingredients that are clearly of the highest quality. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend their favorites or help you navigate the menu. I also appreciate the variety of options available. Whether you're dining in or grabbing takeout, Talkin Taco never disappoints. I can't recommend this place enough, and I can't wait to return for more delicious tacos! If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by—you won't regret it!

We stopped in for a late lunch…greeted and told to order from the kiosk, no information or recommendations. We had taco trio, nachos, quesadilla, and birria grilled cheese. Drinks were very limited to horchata style, jarritos, or a bottled water. We sat down and it took about 30 mins to get half of the food in a very small customer hour. The nachos were the only thing that we loved, had great flavor and seemed thoughtfully put together. The trio came out shortly after nachos and we finished most of everything before the rest of the food arrived. The birria had a weird taste, maybe nutmeg or cinnamon sugar. Oddly flavored considering this is what we came for and being use to the style. The sweetness threw all of the flavors off. Only 2 people in the kitchen, two on the floor and one who was possibly the manager on a computer at a table. Overall most likely wouldn’t return even though we loved the atmosphere.

We received a gift card as a Xmas gift, so we decided to put it to use and try Talkin Tacos out. Could not be more dissatisfied and disappointed in the system that accepts payment. Our card had a balance of $50.00 on it, and we double checked it on their website balance checker. Ordered our food on the restaurant computer and the gift card would not be accepted. We then asked for help from the staff, and they claimed that they didn’t accept, nor sell gift cards. We showed them their own website… wrong. The app on the restaurant computer even has an option to purchase gift cards. It was pretty disappointing, that staff could not attempt to fix this. So we just paid with cash instead. The food was pretty good, and our server was very understanding of the situation and tried to be accommodating with everything else…that’s a plus. As much as I would like to be more complimentary, it left a bad impression on us. Don’t know if I’ll return. I’m more concerned about our friends that purchased the gift card, as a present, getting a refund.

Edit: I decided to edit this post with and update, and change my review score to reflect the service. The owner and corporate team reached out after 1 day of this review, to make it right. They explained the fault in the point of sale system and apologized for the burden. They did what they could, to make it right. It’s good to see a company that really cares about the customer experience. That quality of customer service has been getting lost over the years! Thanks...

If I could leave a 0, I would. One of, if not THE WORST dine-in experience ever, which is a shame because the horchata was delicious. My friends and I ordered separately, but our order numbers were consecutive. There was only one other table dining in, so we were under the assumption it wouldn’t take that long. After 20 minutes of waiting, everyone at my table had their drinks and food except for me. Another 20 minutes in, and I still don’t even have a drink. I stop one of the food runners to explain the situation. He informs me that he sees my ticket, but doesn’t explain why it’s been 40 + minutes. I’m the only one without food, despite my entire table having their food and drinks, and people who arrived later than us being served. Another 20 minutes, and the restaurant had become full and every single table had gotten drinks and food before me. In total, I had to beg three times to be served, to which my appetite had then been replaced by frustration. My friend also never received $10 worth of food, and when we showed the receipt we were not helped. I was excited to have a birria spot near me, but I will never come here again, and I will never recommend it either. Bland food, stingy portions, horrible service. Good radiance.

P.S. The “lemonade” is a joke, if you can even call it that. Waste of money, doesn’t taste like anything. And the chips were disgustingly hard,...
