O'Charley's Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Harrison Township

I had heard great things about O'Charley's; however, as a first time customer I was largely dissapointed. I will give the staff props on how polite they were and how quick they were to greet me. The overall appearance of the restaurant was good as well. The food is where they bombed. Upon arrival at the Harrison location it was visible to me that the staff was exhausted from the lunch rush and I believe that as a result of this this was perhaps the reasoning behind the dissapointing quality of food. I'd heard that their chicken was awesome. Well my chicken was dried out and wasn't even "chicken tenders" as advertised. I feel that I was given the dried out scraps/remains of what they just had. I LOVE chicken tenders so this was very dissapointing as it was the main part of my meal. Then as my two sides I had the macn cheese and sweet potato fries. The fries were awesome, but the macn cheese wasn't even cheesy and lacking of flavor. AND as an appetizer I got the thick cut chips and white queso sauce and those were so-so. Maybe just not for me but may have been better on another day. Also, the provided rolls were phenomenal. So basically it wasn't all horendous, but for the quality it wasn't worth the $20. And for me to try to even think about planning another trip back anytime soon will be rather difficult. Any good restaurant should be able to function well no matter any time of the day and even during the busy hours this is no excuse to cause the food...

Ate lunch as a group of five people.

Three people ordered lunch salads and half BLTs. The lettuce in the salad was tasteless aside from the nitrogen flush flavor from the lettuce packaging. Everybody’s toast was cold and soggy. Bacon was rubbery. Leaf lettuce was wilted. None of them enjoyed their meal.

One person ordered the Maple Waffle fry and Chicken Tender dish. That person seemed to enjoy their meal. They did have to request maple syrup because it sis not come as advertised.

I ordered the a Chicken Tender salad. It contained the same yucky lettuce and based on the size of the tenders on the plate next to me, my salad contained ONE chicken tender cut up into small pieces sprinkled on top. The salad contained bacon with came in as one strip cut in half. Each half was partially cut so that I had a “banner of bacon” hanging from my fork. Salad wasn’t served with a dressing (as the menu stated), I had to request a dressing.

To top it off it was “Free Pie Wednesday”. Free because the quality was so poor, they probably felt bad about charging for it.

Servers appeared inexperienced or preoccupied with non business issues. Two wait staff came to take orders. The food took a long time to come to the table.

We all agreed that we did not need to have another O’Charley’s experience for the remainder of our lives.

We had a group of friends over to watch the Saturday Night fights and we are always looking for a good restaurant to order from that we all can agree on as a group. We all enjoy O'Charley's, but we have never ordered delivery from them before because it can get pricey. However, we finally agreed we would give their party meals a try, and agreed that if they did a good job we would start ordering there on Fight Nights.

We were VERY disappointed.

For starters, it took them almost 2 hours to get the order to us. It was left on the neighbor's porch, even though crystal clear instructions were given regarding delivery. & 4. The worst though was how incredibly wrong and disappointing our order turned out to be, along with the restaurant's response to our complaints, or lack thereof I should clarify.

We ordered a meal that supposedly feeds 4 to 6 people, and the ribs were amazing and did feed the 5 of us. However, the two "large" sides that we paid extra for were a single serving and literally fed one person. We ordered 8 additional rolls and 8 were included with the meal, we received none out of the 16 we were expecting. We contacted the restaurant and were given a $4.65 credit for our messed up order that totaled more than $80 to begin with.
