Hang's Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Harrison

Hang's has been my family's go-to, local Chinese restaurant for YEARS. Literally. Like 10 years. It's delicious! I had originally left an amazing review, but I had to revise it because lately things have been not as great. The food is so good, but the service is slower and it seems to be chaotic when people are picking up their to-go orders. My husband usually runs in to grab it and he's had to wait several minutes before anyone even acknowledges that he's there waiting to pick up our food. The staff is all just hanging out in the back. There's been a couple times where egg rolls have been forgotten with our combos and that's a bummer, because they're so good. Hopefully they step it up, because they're the best around!...

Hard Jones for something Asian so cruised Hang's.....wow....just a fast food joint now....no ordering pints or quarts anymore, just combos....even if ya dine in, ya order your combo n pay at the front before ya sit...

I ordered 2 combo's figuring I'd get about 4 meals.....Mongolian was just a thin, spicy gravy with veggies n a couple small slices of meat....egg roll was plopped into the mess and it tasted old n frozen

Ate a couple bites of egg roll, couple bites of the veggies, and what meat I could find....tossed the rest and it's tough for me to waste grub

Didn't even look at the other combo, just hoping it's not as bad when I heat it up later

Place was foing a hopping take-out business, but other than ourselves there was only one young family dining in. Seats were cold metal, but we understood because their old seating, pre-Covid, was not wipe-clean. But the food was tasty and the servings were generous. I had to take half of my combo home and finish it the next day. You now have to order at the take-out window, grab your own tableware and drinks just like a fast-food place but they bring your food to the table. You really notice their attempts to economize and it IS a little more awkward for the physically challenged/disabled, but the take-out experience is the same and the food...
