New Review for the New Management This place has new management, and it seems they are placing a new focus on Food Quality. And it shows. In the past the food had grown mediocre as you can see by the many old reviews. Well this time we were both blown away. These might have been the best Double Fried Wings we've ever had from Takorea. Amazing. THIS is why we come here, I'm so glad that they're making a return to the quality that we used to know. The Bulgogi Quesadilla was fantastic as well. Takorea, please keep it up! If the food stays this good consistently then this will quickly become a go-to for us whenever friends and family visit. I'm really excited to come back and get these double fried wings again knowing that they're this good. My only very very minor complaint about the "atmosphere" was the music selection; they seemed to be playing a Bob Dylan playlist. Now we all love and respect this American Music Master, but going to a Korean / Mexican restaurant, I was honestly hoping to hear something less-American. Eating bulgogi and hearing "Like a Rolling Stone" kinda kills the vibe 😂 I would love it if they went all-in on the ethnic choices here. Thanks Takorea, I hope to come back soon!

Tacos were OK. The drinks were really good (had a long Island and margarita). Black server/cashier--young, cute with beautiful eyes who took our order and brought our food to us had an attitude. We asked upon arrival if we could order our food and sit outside if we'd like...the other worker said we could. When our food and drinks were ready, we were handed them in to-go containers as the Black server/cashier with her body language ushered us out toward the doors...she said that our order was to-go and if we wanted to eat in the dinning area that we should not had ordered to-go. #1 There was only ONE other person in the dinning area. #2-- We never ordered to-go...we simply asked if we could eat outside once we ordered if we'd like; and finally number 3, with an EMPTY dinning area, what's the big deal if a customer whose order YOU decided was to-go wanted to eat in the empty dinning area?! 🤔 Anyways, my friend said he'd never seen that lady there during his last visits, so maybe she won't be there next time 🤞 when he goes (cause I'll probably not). Otherwise, the drinks we really good. I woulda liked to try other things on the menu, but oh well. (This place could've easily been 5 stars had it not been for the attitudy lady.)

Came to get wings from here as they are always good. Today is game day so when placing the order over the phone the lady specified that they have a short menu, which was great as I only needed to order the wings. On their website their wings are listed $14-14.50. I was expecting to pay just that.i tapped to pay with my mobile and walked away. Came to find out that I was billed $28.00 so I walked back in to see if there was a mistake as that can happen, they were really busy. The manager explained that they have an automatic gratuity added since they are busy today and the wings are costly because of the game but they added in some fries that you normally wouldn’t get. I never asked for fries, I just wanted wings and paying $28 for wings plus fries (that I didn’t want) and this is not even including dipping sauce , this is not right. Gratuity was added automatically and I would’ve understood that for a dine in order, this was TAKE OUT, I should’ve been given an option to tip. I would’ve appreciated it if they’ve mentioned the price hike for the day and that they were doing combo orders because of game day. I felt cheated and would not be coming here again.

Great dinner last night at TaKorea BBQ. We happen to just be walking by and it looked like a cute place to dine. So we went in to give it a try! We were totally blown away by both the food, the portions and the hospitality. The waitress was super friendly and answered all of our questions since we are not that familiar with TaKorea BBQ. Emm and I decided to share the quesadilla and added pollo for $2 extra. It came with a good sized salad or fries. We ordered the salad side since we already the $4 basket of fries. I thought the prices were reasonable and the food was absolutely delicious! We brought back leftovers and my son's ended up running over for their own order! If you in the area of Harrison near the PATH it's definitely worth the stop. You can call ahead for pick up or delivery. In addition there are special like 2 Tako Tuesday! Yum! We can't wait to dine at TaKorea again very soon!

Food is decent, but service is pretty poor. First of all, this “game day” price increases and menu modifications are beyond ridiculous and illogical. There was nobody else sitting in the restaurant, why are you charging extra because there’s a Red Bull game happening later that day? Also, the Korean female waitress had a bad attitude and wasn’t kind. Also, an automatic 20% gratuity for poor service. But hey, the Bulgogi and spicy pork tacos were tasty. Even the tortilla chips were not bad. They watered down the Margarita, and also refused to serve my friend a glass of water. With that said, I won’t be returning for a while, perhaps I’ll give it a shot if there’s a turnover of employees or change of ownership— this place absolutely has potential to be good, but it’s ran so POORLY. As a person of Korean descent, we don’t claim ya’ll. SMH.

Seems like the ratings are based on the margaritas and anything with mango. Came in hungry af. so decided to start with the chimchi, contrary to the description I got a dry chicken wing stuffed with steamed brown rice, (kimchi hint what?) some guacamole and slightly less than fresh pico. Ok, fine I’ll try the second appetizer, ordered the Roast Pollo (Tako). It was literally shredded Costco rotisserie chicken. Not even a hint of mole (no, wasn’t expecting my mother’s mole smothered chicken but a table spoon would have been welcomed) Zero mole and certainly did not get any Cotija. Couldn’t stay for the entree, a coin I didn’t want to toss. They did have one of my fave beers on tap and the playlist was fantastic. MangoRita and below the table dancing kinda place. Couldn’t bring myself to take a pic of the taco. Not photogenic.
