Tacos were OK. The drinks were really good (had a long Island and margarita). Black server/cashier--young, cute with beautiful eyes who took our order and brought our food to us had an attitude. We asked upon arrival if we could order our food and sit outside if we'd like...the other worker said we could. When our food and drinks were ready, we were handed them in to-go containers as the Black server/cashier with her body language ushered us out toward the doors...she said that our order was to-go and if we wanted to eat in the dinning area that we should not had ordered to-go. #1 There was only ONE other person in the dinning area. #2-- We never ordered to-go...we simply asked if we could eat outside once we ordered if we'd like; and finally number 3, with an EMPTY dinning area, what's the big deal if a customer whose order YOU decided was to-go wanted to eat in the empty dinning area?! 🤔 Anyways, my friend said he'd never seen that lady there during his last visits, so maybe she won't be there next time 🤞 when he goes (cause I'll probably not). Otherwise, the drinks we really good. I woulda liked to try other things on the menu, but oh well. (This place could've easily been 5 stars had it not been for the attitudy lady.)

New Review for the New Management This place has new management, and it seems they are placing a new focus on Food Quality. And it shows. In the past the food had grown mediocre as you can see by the many old reviews. Well this time we were both blown away. These might have been the best Double Fried Wings we've ever had from Takorea. Amazing. THIS is why we come here, I'm so glad that they're making a return to the quality that we used to know. The Bulgogi Quesadilla was fantastic as well. Takorea, please keep it up! If the food stays this good consistently then this will quickly become a go-to for us whenever friends and family visit. I'm really excited to come back and get these double fried wings again knowing that they're this good. My only very very minor complaint about the "atmosphere" was the music selection; they seemed to be playing a Bob Dylan playlist. Now we all love and respect this American Music Master, but going to a Korean / Mexican restaurant, I was honestly hoping to hear something less-American. Eating bulgogi and hearing "Like a Rolling Stone" kinda kills the vibe 😂 I would love it if they went all-in on the ethnic choices here. Thanks Takorea, I hope to come back soon!

Came to get wings from here as they are always good. Today is game day so when placing the order over the phone the lady specified that they have a short menu, which was great as I only needed to order the wings. On their website their wings are listed $14-14.50. I was expecting to pay just that.i tapped to pay with my mobile and walked away. Came to find out that I was billed $28.00 so I walked back in to see if there was a mistake as that can happen, they were really busy. The manager explained that they have an automatic gratuity added since they are busy today and the wings are costly because of the game but they added in some fries that you normally wouldn’t get. I never asked for fries, I just wanted wings and paying $28 for wings plus fries (that I didn’t want) and this is not even including dipping sauce , this is not right. Gratuity was added automatically and I would’ve understood that for a dine in order, this was TAKE OUT, I should’ve been given an option to tip. I would’ve appreciated it if they’ve mentioned the price hike for the day and that they were doing combo orders because of game day. I felt cheated and would not be coming here again.

I’ve had my eyes on this place ever since my dude moved to this area. Finally we got the opportunity to order it as I was coming over to watch an NBA playoff game. The plan was to have him order it for pickup. He called multiple times. Like a lot of times. Like 20 times and he got the busy tone every time. While driving (sh, don’t tell) I even tried and eventually someone picked up. I spoke up loud and clear cause I heard a ton of background noise. HELLO I’D LIKE TO ORDER FOR PICKUP. The woman says what in a heavy accent then proceeds to hang up the phone. Next time I call I get the busy tone again. WTF! My homie sees you can order online only for delivery so we just end up doing that.

Food - Got the Sweet Chili Korean fried chicken wings and the Bulgogi Quesadilla. The wings were $12 for 6 wings. Seems pricey but they were pretty fat wings after being fried. I tasted the potential but they weren’t so amazing. Plus, they didn’t have ranch, only these very small tarter sauce containers. Make sure you have ranch at home if you order take out! Maybe cause they were more on the lukewarm side by the time I chowed down on em. I bet these are bomb at the restaurant. But you know what was bomb for take out. The Quesadilla. Man, this was probably the best Quesadilla I’ve ever had. It’s that type of taste that makes you salivate thinking about it the next time. We did add Salsa and this Ghost Pepper cheese to it but even without it, I could tell they had something special with this dish. It was all in the Bulgogi. I bet the Burrito would be just as mouth watery too.

-1 Star for their whacky service with the phone and hanging up on me but I’m looking forward to sitting down and eating here. They have specials...

The absolute worst. My family has eaten here many times over the years under the previous management and used to love it. The food was excellent, interesting, cuisine that you could not find elsewhere, excellent service, fantastic margaritas, the friendliest staff, great prices, I could go on and on. The new management has changed the atmosphere, food, pricing, etc. for the worst. I can only speak on the fusion items (which used to be the highlight of this restaurant), as I did not try any of the purely Korean additions that had been added to the menu. They are the same menu items that we have always ordered but they are now, overly sweet, or bland, but overall dry and the quality has seriously diminished. The bulgogi in the tacos tasted like sugar, with zero flavor. The Mexican tacos had chicken and beef and both were very dry. The fish taco was cold and my son wouldn't even eat it. The double fried wings (these used to be amazing) use to take 25-30 mins to prepare because they were fresh and delicious! They are now thick and bready, not crispy, and just overall lackluster. We didn't finish the food, didn't take it to go and left unsatisfied. While we dined, another diner had an issue with her meal and did not want to pay for the her food because she was dissatisfied (not at all surprising). The new manager grabbed the ladies arm and threatened her and then called the police. All of this over a $20 meal; the manager then lied to the police and completely ruined the dining experience for everyone present. The new owners should definitely bring in a new manager or I imagine this business will not last long. I will not return and I do not recommend. Very sad as this was one of my favorite spots...

Update 2019: I have come to dislike this place. And it's mostly cause of the attitude of the employees and few other things. Service is just so so and that is not acceptable given that it would cost about $15 for a meal (excluding tips). That's quite steep given location and the type of food. But that is hardly my complaint.

I recently planned my evening and went there for dinner on a Weekday. But having reached a full hour before closing they refused to seat me. I mean if you close your kitchen a full hour before closing you need to place that on your website.

Second, they offer delivery only for residents within half a block of radius but not for any residents who are a mere block away. I hope the owner realizes he is turning business away cause of plain laziness of it's employees.

Third, they usually out of one or two items on their menu. First you don't deliver even a block away, then when a customer shows up you refuse service a fill hour before closing and then on top of that often have items missing from the menu? Great Management!!!

Older Review Thisplace opened up fairly recently. It's quite spacious, has eclectic interior and the food is great. Service is prompt and the servers are friendly and go out of the way to make sure you have a good meal. It's great for small bites. They have tables for largers parties. However, I feel it's a tad bit over priced for the location. But, still a great...
