The chicken here was very good. Some people might think the chicken portion was a little bit small, but I had the 3 piece that included chicken, ( A very good, mildly seasoned) rice, a small salad, and a soda for about 8 bucks, And it was plenty for lunch. The chicken is a little more on the crispy side, not breaded like some places. You can also get burgers cheese steaks and a few other things here. The owner cooked my food while I waited, he was very friendly and it didn't take long. It is not the cleanest restaurant, but this is a take out place- there are no chairs or tables. Parking can be tight depending on how many people are at the gas station and convenience store next to it.

Crazy and not even say sorry or nothing so here we are eating cold food not even an apology.

So I have a great review with some bad news. So I love chicken city first and foremost. Recently I’ve been eating there almost five times a week honestly. Super quick, always open, and cheap. But tonight when I went to go pick up my food, I saw a roach by the register.I stared at it and the owner looked at my face and my eyes as I followed to see where it was going. Super disappointed in that. I love that place and I don’t even live in the Hartford area. I literally drive twenty mins to get to this place to find that creature in there. I known Hartford is known for having them and mice, but that’s no excuse for them to be in your establishment, especially when dealing with food. I think that will be my last time until I know or see something done about that issue. Super sad I LOVED THERE...

I used to come here 10 years ago and I love their food and how late they are open. I didnt catch the name of the person who served me, but I can tell you he did an excellent job making sure the food was fresh, presentable, and came out fast. I order the chicken over rice for me and my gf, and it was so good we had it again the next night. I would recommend their fried chicken but for me i will always order the chicken over rice.

The only bad thing I can mention is the loiterers outside asking for change and money as they can be agressive when you don’t give. Overall would recommend Chicken...
