Dunkin' — Restaurant in Hartford

I recently stopped at the Hartford Dunkin’ to grab donuts and coffee for a meeting, and I was so impressed with the service! I wasn’t sure how much to order for 12 people, but the cashier, Emily, kindly walked me through her recommendation with a great attitude.

It didn’t stop there—she went to the back to help prepare my order, and while waiting I overheard her training a new team member. She explained exactly how to put together a box of coffee and what to include in the bag. She mentioned they normally provide cups and fixings for 10, but since she knew my order was for 12, she added the extra two without me even asking.

Ordered a new hot cold mug at $15. It came with a free first time fill. When I came to the window prior to paying I Said the price was not correct, coffee is free. She said okay and preceded to charge me for the increased price. I said that was not correct, the amount was too much the coffee is free. She said oh, I'm sorry. I said are you going to refund me, she said I'm really sorry.. I again said, I would like the price adjusted. She said I'm really sorry, I don't know how to do that. Thank you!!! What??? This just happened earlier this morning. Manager / owner don’t know how to run a business. Placed a mobile order at 6:30am and arrived at 6:40. Order was for 2 coffees, several other people were waiting a long time for their order. There were 2 new people working that didn’t know what the hell they were doing. At one point one of them said out loud “I don’t know how to make a macchiato. I got one of my coffees about 10 min after arriving and after 45 min of waiting they told me they didn’t know how to make the other coffee.
