This place is a disgrace and desperately needs to fire and rehire professional and competent management. I've had more issues there than good, professional service. I've made claims before and once it goes to the store manager, you never get a resolution. I do not have enough space to go into everything wrong but here are the general issues. Starting with the most recent, yesterday. I had to get buzzed in for restroom as a paying customer. While in there an employee came in, I let her go first as there is only one working stall, I have shy bladder and she was an employee. She goes in, takes about 10 mins as I wait and I hear sounds common to drug use, tapping bags and snorting. Not my business I ignore it. She finally comes out and I go to stall, before closing door she RUDELY asks me what I am doing. Confused and disturbed I looked at her stunned, as she starts getting loud and accusing ME of trying to get high. SHE was herself and had no reason to discriminate and harass me. She runs out and starts yelling creating a scene that was not only slander but traumatic and embarrassing. Rose an employee handled it well but that lady needs to lose her job acting like that. Another time, as they never have soap in restroom I offered the manager some and she just didn't wash her hands and insulted me. I've never seen an employee wash hands especially coming from restroom knowing they never have soap. They charge people for soda and machine is down but refuse to use one behind counter. Managers are rude and unprofessional especially when you constantly catch them talking about customers so terribly and these are the people who are suppose to set an example. Read moreI have never met such incompetent employees until I stepped foot inside this McDonald’s on Washington Street in Hartford Connecticut on October 18th 2022 at 7:35am. First off, I am not a frequent fast food connoisseur. I went to the counter and ask to order one single sausage McMuffin. Ingredients; an English muffin, cheese and with one sausage patty. Some how this order came to $4.38. While waiting for my Sausage McMuffin I saw on the menu that I could have purchased a 3 dollar combo and have gotten two Sausage McMuffins for 3 dollars. I immediately mentioned this to the cashier who took my order, then took 15 minutes to go back and bring out some type of manager who explained to me that I was wrong and they could not void the charge nor refund my money. The manager told me the mistake was on me. This is pure laziness in complete incompetence. Do not visit this McDonald’s if you are not from the area. Customer was a senior citizen who was not familiar with automated menu. Customer left unserved unsatisfied upset and hungry. Although I offered to help the customer she was way to distressed to deal with automated menu and wanted to place order with cashier who said NO to the customer. McDonalds train your employees properly please. Customers are leaving because of automated menu's. Burger King nor Wendy's have confusing automated menus. Customers just order directly with the cashier. Much easier. McDonalds has to do way better than this.
