My boyfriend and I went and took a private lesson with Mark and made the knives pictured. Making these knives was a once in a lifetime experience! Mark is a great teacher. Mark listened to our design ideas and helped us make them come to life. Mark really enjoys his work and was patient and has wonderful hospitality. Mark opened the shop on a Monday for our lesson which is normally a day he’s closed! The process of blacksmithing was very relaxing and rewarding. My 11yo took a class with Mark yesterday. Great experience, great teacher! Mark was patient, encouraging, and paid close attention to safety in a friendly way.
