McDonald's — Restaurant in Hartsville

Nice clean McDonald's. Our order was correct. The food was good and hot. They have a nice indoor playground for the children.

Returned on 26 Feb 2019 at 1219. This McDonalds (#25363) recently reopened after a remodel. They have a kiosk to order and pay (credit card only) which is kinda cool, but I wanted to use cash, so I got in line. Our order was completed quickly. I ordered unsweet tea and then discovered I had to get back in line for artifical sweetener. When eating the first fry, we discovered they needed more salt, so...back in line for salt. Now, I have my tea sweetened and my frys (which by now are cold) salted. I opened my chicken sandwich and discovered it was breaded not broiled like I ordered (and like the receipt agreed). For this visit I'm thinking more like 1 star.

Returned again 29 November 2019 at about 1400. They now have 2 drive-thru lanes. While we were in one line waiting to order, the other lane had 4 cars pull up and order. I went inside finally to order. While in line I asked to speak to the manager. She said, they had a mess to clean up and couldn't take orders in my lane. When I finally got my order, the sweet tea dispencer was no where to be found. When I picked up my order, I asked the lady to fill my cup from behind the counter. She filled my cup with warm tea and NO ICE. 1 star again for this McDisappointment.

10 Feb 2024 update We went through the drive-through at about 1730. When we pulled up to the window, the young lady said pull over into spot #1. Well spot #1 already had a car waiting. The young man brought out the food for car #1. The lady jumped out of her car and said this is not my order. The guy then walked over to our car and read the receipt asking if that was our order. We said yes, took the meal, and drove off. When we got home, we discovered that the staff could not tell the difference between a double fish filet (which we ordered) and a deluxe McCrispy chicken sandwich. Another bad day for this McDonalds. No...

I would give less than 1 star if I could. I have been here 3 times. After the last time I will never return to this location or any locations that share management or employees with this store in Hartsville. The first time I went to this location the employees that were in drive thru were rude … I figured well maybe they are just having a bad day. So I went back a 2 times got the Cactus Plant meal cause I wanted to live nostalgic and get an adult happy meal with a toy. Well again we were treated rudely . We were rushed by the employees when we got our food it was cold and we didn’t get any of our sauces or our toy with the meal…. I contacted them to let them know of the issues they said that there is nothing they can do cause it’s not their probables since we already left the parking lot as we went through drive through. I told my partner today let’s try one more time and we went through drive through and we were rush. The woman at window refused to let me use my coupon and when my order was handed to me it felt rushed… NEVER go to this McDonald’s if you...

Order is NEVER correct. The last time we asked for EXTRA onions, we LITERALLY got 4 diced onions, (the TINY ones) on the burger! It's almost as if they do the opposite of what we ask! EVERY TIME. Even when we specifically ask several people to make sure it's right. Almost all the workers are rude. They act like it's such a big deal to ask for something extra. And then when you show them that it's wrong, they put extra onions or pickles in a chicken nugget box, instead of just fixing the burger correctly.

The last time I went there, I was moved to lane 1 when there was no one else in the Drive-Thru. I waited for 15 minutes for two McDoubles and a fry.

I then saw them taking the food out to the car in lane 6! I went inside to get my food, and they acted like it was my fault for not being in my car, but if you go to a car in lane 6, I definitely don't think you have my food, as I am in lane number 1, and you should come to me first. And, of course, the food was cold. HORRIBLE customer service.

Oh, and THE ICE CREAM MACHINE IS...
