I love to support locally owned businesses, however, I was extremely disappointed with this new place from beginning to end. On arrival we were greeted with a grunt, led to a dirty table, then to another one. (Still no words from the host) the atmosphere was of an abandoned warehouse, loose wire fittings, unpainted walls and very very old seating. I asked the server why it was so quiet and the response was “I forgot to turn the tv on” no further attempts to turn the tv on were taken. Quiet is not always bad, but this was awkward and uncomfortable. The food was sub-par, I ordered a side of broccoli which was yellow, and rancid. When I told the server, she apologized but no attempt to bring fresh or refund price. Tables were left unclean despite several servers hanging around the bar area, and flies were excessive for an indoor setting. Come on guys! We want to support you, but give us...
Read moreThis place is cozy & homey with a flare of country casual. The service was really good. The waitress was attentive to our needs & kept the cups filled without having to be asked. The food, eh; I had the Chili & Cheese with Onion hot dog. It was pretty good, but I believe the chili was canned. It had a good amount of cheese and onions, that those are a plus. The other meal was the chicken Chimichanga with cheese. It was a good portion but lacked in substance. There was very little chicken in each slice, although it did have some bacon in it but the cheese was scarce to say the least. The salsa that we got to go with it tho, Chef’s kiss on that, it was delicious. The place was clean but really needs some TLC and I did notice poor wiring to the TV’s which could...
Read moreMy sister and I went in for lunch on a Saturday at 11:00. I got a hamburger and tots that was really good, and my sister got the hamburger steak, baked potato and slaw. She said it was all good. In fact, we went back for lunch the next day at 11:00 and got the buffet bar. The chicken, beef tips, slaw, cabbage, mac n cheese and mashed potatoes, was really good. However, my sister didn't care for the pinto beans. The slaw was so good, we got extra to have on our hot dogs while camping at the KOA. I would definitely go back, prices were very reasonable, and the service was great. And, I will definitely be back for the...
