Dunkin' — Restaurant in Harwich

I would give this specific location a 0 star if I could. All around, to start, it’s the closest dunkin in a very popular town for those vacationing to the cape- easily within walking distance, so you would think they would want to atleast satisfy the basics of what dunkin does— quick, easy, good cheep food and drinks. They do the opposite. Ordering online, they don’t even bother to look at the tickets that print out, and when they finally get to the 30 overflowing online orders, they do a rushed job and manage to mess it up HORRIBLY every. single. time. Ontop of that, ordering online is a gamble between edible stuff and absolutely abhorrent food and drinks that are barely fit for consumption- i’m talking charred food, swamp water coffee, everything that can possibly go wrong they manage. They forget food, and look at you like you have a third eye growing out of your head when you raise any slight concern. Branching onto the employees and service- it’s fitting to the quality of food they manage to mess up when dunkin food is literally just throwing a bunch of premade stuff that’s been sitting on a warming plate all day together. The staff are just blatantly rude- they will talk trash about you, they will look at you like your some scum of the earth, they will IGNORE YOU for up to 20 MINUTES (i kid you not, it’s happened more than a handful of times.) they smoke in the back room, disappear back they for up to 30 minutes at a time and only leave one worker up front to take orders from the long line of people constantly flowing in a line out the front door- leaving thousands of orders taken but NONE MADE for the next HOUR. If your going to be all around bad workers- please atleast make up for it in atleast basic food and drinks- which they cannot do. Trash overflows constantly in the bins, the donuts are constantly stale, and when you do get one they are NEVER in stock of any, regardless of how early you are there. I am not joking or exaggerating when I say it is a circus in there- please, take this review to heart as someone who has worked in the service industry for years and cannot be more patient with those in fast food- this place is genuinely the worst, most horrible dunkin you could go to. Drive maybe 5 minutes either direction to another one, or even get stuff local at one of the many lovely cafes and establishments in town. Save yourself the trouble and money flushed down the toilet from food and drinks you cannot consume, and the confusion when you see staff standing on their phone doing nothing while the online order machine prints and yells at them 30 times in a minute, or the worker taking orders leaves to smoke and vape and talk with their friends...

I usually don’t write reviews even if I had a bad experience, but this Dunkin was awful. I’ve worked at a few myself before and I was appalled at the service. I only got a coffee and a bagel but I could tell by looking at the coffee already that something was off. It was bubbly at the top and off color from my usual order. I decided to try it anyway and it tasted nasty. I could only think it was the bottom of the iced coffee shuttle to have it foam at the top like that. Mistakes happen so I asked for it to be remade. The girl behind the counter looked at me asked me what I wanted which I asked again that I wanted it remade because it didn’t taste good. She only replied with “why?” She gave me the impression that I was being unreasonable for asking for a remake with the deadest stare. She took my previous drink and went over to the side where a shift lead took over. The shift lead was fine, but I was irritated by the previous worker’s attitude. Thankfully I don’t live in Harwich, but I don’t recommend...

Cashier was very friendly and efficient, the man making the coffee and sandwiches... I'm at a loss for words..... I've never waited so long for two coffees at a Dunkin's in my life, and no there was no one else in front of me waiting for anything. He finally hands me my coffee's and I thank him and ask for a tray....he turns his back and starts to make an English muffin never acknowledged me. I'm not from the area and felt a little dumb when I noticed the trays on the counter to my left. What really gets me...I had already tipped the cashier 3 & change... and then seeing a tip jar for likely the owner (based on his attire and attitude/ no uniform/ key ring etc. attitude being the biggest)...three Stars are 100% the cashier's , the atmosphere is all the other customers who came in while I was there, the food...is Dunkin's, you'd have to go out your way to...
