Overall the quality is very poor for the price. Cakepop was already falling apart when I received it and completely fell of the stick before i could get it to my mouth. It's extremely wet and has no taste. Seems like they used water instead of buttercream. Macaroon was extremely dry and brittle on the outside and then the consistency of chewing gum inside. Also tasted extremely artificial. Baklava was good but the smallest piece possible. Bite sized. Also it is the same size, shape and thickness as the ones you can buy from shoprite for less. Cappuccino was extremely watered down. Didn't taste like there was much milk or coffee in it. Very tasteless. Turkish coffee was the thing I was the most excited for but it seemed very lack luster. I dont have much experience with Turkish coffee but I've done my research and it just seemed like a lazy brew. I'm sorry for the bad review, I was very excited for this and it was upsetting. Please look info better cakepop recipes and reviews your prices and portion sizes.
Update The duration of the travel time should not effect the taste of the coffee. I highly doubt it became watery on the 5 minute drive. If you are not confident in your quality via delivery you should not offer it. Also you have another 1 star review that is almost identical description to my review as far as the cakepop goes. Continue to cater your business to your children I'm sure that is a good business model. Also baklava is one of my favorite desserts and I've had it from may places and made it myself. Macaroons call for their price point became they take time, skill etc. Baklava is done in large batches and other than layering the phyllo dough it's a very simple process. I wasn't complaining about the quality simply that I very never seen any business offer such a miniscule portion.
Defending yourself publicly on Google over an honest review also doesn't say much about your service. I wouldn't have left this review if I didn't want others to waste their money...
Read moreSo, I have been following this bakery since they opened on Facebook and Instagram and those desserts just kept "calling" me... so, I stopped there yesterday and immediately was greeted by a very bubbly, sweet woman behind the counter which offered me some samples. Then I just looked around and asked what this big, poofy thing was and it was the cream puff!!! I got two of those... lol! I also got some nut cookies and chocolate bomb... so excited to see what all the talk of this place was... I tried a piece of each one.. well... WOW!!! The cream puffs... DELICIOUS!! Can you say CUSTARD!?!? It was a soft delicious dough and STUFFED with amazing custard!! Like... STUFFED! The nut cookie was SOOOOO good.. this nice crisp cookie shell and filled with homemade caramel!!! Those are dangerous to have around.. lol! Then I had the chocolate bomb... not such a big dessert, but definitely ooey and gooey deliciousness!!! It's nice a crisp shell and filled with a chocolate pudding/fudge kind of stuff... soo good!! All in all, I am definitely satisfied with what I had and will definitely be back to try more things...
Read moreI am not one to leave reviews especially negatively, but everything I ordered from here was a complete disappointment especially for the high price. The vanilla cake pop fell apart with the first bite and it is complete mush that has no cake flavor. I know cake pops are moister than usual cakes, but it tastes like uncooked dough and was the worst cake pop I've ever seen. The macaroons were hard, flaked, and broke apart with every bite (especially the chocolate, it is difficult to tell in pictures how hard it was) and overall very underwhelming. The eclairs were a little better, but they are overpriced and so are the other things I got. For $28 and change (1 cake pop, 3 eclairs, and 3 macaroons) I was already surprised with the price since I have bought a lot more pastries at bakeries for cheaper, but even more disappointed with the quality as I was...
