American Wings & Cafe — Restaurant in Hattiesburg

The food is really good. The wings are always cooked perfectly and well seasoned. Their fries are fresh everytime I order. The staff is polite and helpful, they are quick to help you decide by offering suggestions.

My reason for 3 stars in place of 5 is based solely on the size of the wings in comparison with the price. The wings, flats or drums, are very small. They are approximately the size of your thumb. I would say they are about 1/2 to maybe 2/3 the size of wings from Buffalo Wild Wings, Wing Stop, or other wing joints I've tried. American Wings & Cafe's wings are not fairly priced in relation to their competitors.

Still, I love their food and the friendly atmosphere of American Wings & Cafe and will continue...

For starters, the food is always great.. I’ll speak more on the service. A specific female employee did NOT meet expectations. I called to place an order.. she answered the phone saying hello as if she was not at work. Secondly, I asked for more hot sauce on my wings & she returned from the back with my plate filled with sauce. I could barely see one wing sticking up. The wings are very amazing! They have different variety ranging from BBQ to Sweet Chili to Buffalo !!!! The owners are so very amazing and actually make sure that their restaurant meets every customers needs. Never anything dirty in the restaurant. It’s at the highest point of cleaning and sanitation of everything in the building. The food comes in a reasonable time still hot fresh and filled with love.
