Po-Boy Express — Restaurant in Hattiesburg

Today I was locked out of my car. I was scared and had no way of calling for help because my phone was also locked in my car. I made my way into the po-boy express in hopes of getting help. And what I got was something much more than just help. The gentleman that helped me find a locksmith and helped me call for help was so kind. On top of everything he offered me food and water. The food was amazing and the kindness I received was something so rare and though I was having a terrible time he made me feel safe and cared about. Please, if you’re looking for a good place to get great food with a bit of southern kindness stop in. I promise you will never be disappointed. Thank you again for helping me. I wanted to tell you how much it meant but I’m just really shy. It meant more than you realized. Bless you....

I called & placed an order of just large fries and comeback sauce. Maybe cuz it was so small they didn’t care to help me. She said 15-20 mins. Perfect. I got there around 30ish mins after calling. I went through the drive-thru and sat there watching 2 girls chit chat, play with some kids and never even acknowledge I was there for around 23 mins. I was so pissed by then & should’ve just drove off. There were vehicles behind me also. The dining area wasn’t busy either. It would’ve taken less than a min to ask what I had and hand me my fries. But they pretended not to see me! And then I got COLD mushy fries from sitting! I even asked the girl beings it had been so long since I ordered, if my fries were still hot. She said yes....

Came in after lunch and ordered a cheeseburger and fries and drink. 11$ is a good price for all of that. When i first got the food, it looked good. I opened up my burger to take off the lettuce tomato and pickles, to see that there was a strand of hair on the bottom of my burger patty. It was about an inch long and It looked like it came from a dog or animal or a person with very short or buzzed hair. Was not pleased at all and threw the food away immediately. Im not sure if the food is good here, just make sure to check if there is hair in your food when coming here. Other than that, the lady at the register...
