Would give zero stars if I could. I ordered a pizza on my app from this location last night. There is an issue on my Domino's app where my old number refuses to delete and is set as the default. I always put my current correct number in the directions field. I was at a friend's having drinks. The order seemed to be taking a while and after half an hour of the app showing the pizza being checked, I called to check on it. Someone answered and they said my pizza order was on hold because I failed a security call. They had tried to call my old number. I have never heard of this, but I don't have a problem with them trying to protect their employees. I explained about phone number issue and asked why I wasn't notified via the app or my email. They put me on hold for a few minutes, then they explained there was nothing they could do. They honestly got a bit rude and sarcastic at this point. I was honestly trying to remain respectful. I have worked at a pizza restaurant dealing with delivery and takeout before. I understand the job well. They said my only option was to come in person. We had all been drinking, so that's not an option. I asked if I could replace the order online. They said no that my location, which was my friends home address, was blocked from receiving orders. I was fed up at this point. We had wasted over an hour of time waiting on this only to get contempt in lieu of good customer service. Read moreWe ordered about 70 bucks worth of pizza back around Christmas and waited an hour and there was no progress on our order according to the tracker. We called and they said they didn’t have anybody to deliver it so they didn’t make it. That would have been fine, except they didn’t bother calling and telling us that. They just had us waiting on our food with apparently no intentions of calling and letting us know we wouldn’t be getting it anytime soon. When we called to cancel the order there was no apology or anything. I contacted the home office via email and they sent a voucher for a free one topping. The voucher was accompanied by a letter with this backhanded “apology” that emphasized that they were hiring and that I could join their team. It was in poor form especially considering their lack of communication was the cause of the complaint, not them being short staffed. All it would have taken was a phone call saying “We’re sorry, your order has been delayed due to staffing shortages.” Apparently that’s too much.
EDIT: In case it’s too hard for you to understand, soliciting your unhappy customers for employment is tacky and in poor taste. When a customer contacts you about YOU dropping the ball, you don’t counter by asking them to work for you, which from the way this place is run, I would never even if I weren’t a gainfully employed adult. Read more2 hours after I placed my order I was able to come pick up the pizza myself. Overall this was a very dissatisfying experience, despite having generally good service in the past. After over an hour of waiting I called and spoke to Courtney who was polite just to check the status of my order and she assured me it was in route. 20 minutes after that my status changed to complete and I never received an order. I called back and Courtney said I would have to come pick it up since they couldn't find the address, again, never have had this issue. When I picked it up the gentleman up front had no idea what was going on and took awhile for him to find my order, which at this point the pizza was made an hour and a half ago.
