Centrella's Deli & Italian Market — Restaurant in Haverford Township

Let me start by saying Centrella’s food is delicious!!! I could not be happier that I chose Centrella’s to cater my Fathers 80th birthday party. I ordered the 4 entrée catering package and everything was excellent and plentiful. The meatballs were great, the roast pork w/broccoli rabe and sharp provolone OMG I’m in love, sausage and peppers wonderful, penne w/ chicken & broccoli DELICIOUS! Then we had the chicken tender appetizer everyone loved, pepperoni and cheese tray was packed full. The sides and salad were great as well…I could go on. When I arrived I was greeted by a friendly employee who knew exactly who I was when I gave my name, he then came out with a rolling cart full of all our food which was well packaged. He reviewed my order with me and verified everything was correct. He then came out and packed it all in my vehicle with great care and would not accept a tip. My experience was delicious food and great service. I am happy to give Centrella’s a glowing review. I now have a place I MUST visit when retuning...

A co worker had a death in the family and doesn't live close to where we work. So my bosses wanted to send her some food for her and her family for tonight. I called a few delis around her house in Lansdowne and every business I spoke to close to her house had NO sympathy and would not go out and deliver anything for me. I searched around and found Centrella's and immediately AJ gave his condolences and helped me out. He recommended food that would be good to eat tonight and save if needed for the next few nights so my coworker and her family could have a snack anytime they needed. I asked him if he could deliver to her home and he said no problem. I ended up having to change the address and he still happily agreed. He even offered to call me once the delivery had been made. Great guy and from what all of the other reviews say they have great food. Thank you AJ! You really helped us, help out a co worker and I'm sure you brightened up her day a little. Customers please watch out for pricing. I purchased spaghetti sauce last Sunday. The price tag said 2.97. I thought this was an excellent price and so I purchased it along with another large sauce with mini meatballs. I pay for my items and the cashier struck up a conversation with me so I guess that distracted me. She told me my total and I paid. The other people who were with me had ordered some food that we were waiting to be made and while we were waiting, I realized that I did pay an awful lot for the price that was on the label. When I took it to their attention, the young cashier took it to I suppose the manager, and by the way, she was very rude and she proceeds to tell me that they’re all marked wrong and she went to the case and took them all out. Somebody had marked the wrong price, so they were marked at 297 but rang up at seven dollars and some change. Instead of honoring the price they just told me that that price stands so I just want everybody to be aware. Be careful shopping...
