Woooooo what an experience, went in a couple times before this and coffee and food was ok, figured let them get the kinks out since they just opened + maybe theyâll have more food options, decided to try again especially since the kids can play in the kids area, so we order our coffees and basically get flavored milk, I ask for a shot of espresso and girl tries to charge me $4. Obviously itâs not about the $4, itâs the point! when someone orders a coffee, especially from a cafe, donât serve them milk. I told the girl Iâm not paying extra when I ordered a coffee that taste like milk, she tells me wElL I cAn ReFuNd yOuR dRiNkS, no youâre gonna refund me for everything I ordered and weâre out of here! went to cafe pesto got us a good meal and an actual coffee, I mean when a restaurant makes a better coffee than a coffee shop, thatâs sad..sad to say, but itâs another one of those aesthetic places with no good food,...
Read moreI agree with the other review saying that the business is more concerned with the aesthetic than accommodating customers. When they opened they had a cute play area for kids which was perfectly inviting for mothers to have a place to go where their kids can be welcome as well. I think they were just playing on that as a gimmick because when accommodating mothers and children became inconvenient they got rid of all the kid stuff and changed the whole vibe of the cafe so honestly it feels like a message that kids (which means mothers as well) arenât welcome. The crowd is now nothing but hipsters working on laptops and side eyeing you for bringing your kids into the establishment not knowing the place used to be kid friendly. This left such a bad taste in my mouth and I wonât be going back. Plus that matcha latte I had was not good it took a long time for it to come out then it...
Read moreVibes here are immaculate, I love bringing my laptop and getting some work done while enjoying coffee (currently on a mission to try each menu item and so far everything's been top notch). You might want to ask questions if you're not confident on how they make their drinks, i.e. I've heard their macchiato is a true macchiato and not like Starbucks' version, and a cortado actually is supposed to have milk in it unlike an americano. The food and snack selection is also great to have when on the run!
The only downside for me is the kids area - I appreciate them having that option for families, but it seems like some people treat AOTB as a playground first with some coffee in the background. If you're a group of visitors with 7 screaming kids that are so loud you can't even hear the cafe music, please know we're...
