You can get freshly made poke (we had to wait for them to make more at 10am) that's priced between the grocery store and what other poke places charge per pound. Can't go wrong with that!
We had the Hawaiian Ahi, Lomi Salmon and Poi. The Hawaiian Ahi was as good as it looks. The Lomi Salmon (the first I've had on this island) was like a good pico de gallo with Salmon! Bruh, this would be amazing with chips. As for the Poi, I've only ever had it on Maui and it was bleh and kind of sour. This one made me think of an incredibly thick congee, like you boiled rice, strained and mashed it to a paste. Add to that slight taste of taro. I get it’s a locally owned shop but don’t tell me you’re going to have something the next day and not have a single one.. poor customer service. Probably won’t get banana bread if...
