They are a walk up, take out place. Think Lunch Wagon, but no vehicle! 😋! You order at the window on the left & pick up at the right side window. They are only open Tues - Fri, 9:30am - 1pm (or till sold out, whichever comes 1st). Closed Sat, Sun & Mon) CASH ONLY!! (So much for my Discover or Capital One Cash back bonus 🤪) Worth it though.

They do give good kine size portions. (Pardon my Pidgin! 😉) They have a posted weekly menu with specific dishes each day. They add 1 special each day to the regular daily dishes.

We especially like their Roast Pork which is available on Fridays. They used to have a great Roast Beef on Tuesdays, but they cut it from their menu, which made me sad as I have a sentimental childhood connection with that one. (Had to cut a star for that!)

Back in the 80's, they had a lunch wagon parked right at the old Aiea Napa (same parking lot where Dixie Grill is). My dad would go on Roast Beef & Roast Pork days & bring home a plate lunch & share it with mom & I. Yes... It fed all 3 of us. Oh those wonderful memories we all have of our hanabattah days! 😊

I posted on Yelp but what an experience with this place. I ordered for 100 people and when I get there at 4pm to pick up my food, they tell me someone picked it up....I was like hah.....a guy in a pick up truck came and picked it up.....I told them I'm the only one and my wife, who knows where we ordered and what time the pick up, at 4pm. I kept my cool and was pacing like a mad dog. I gotta feed 100 people at a grad party in 45 minutes....what in the world am I gonna do!!! They didn't even check for id, they just gave the food away. Luckily there was a delivery van parked next to me for 250 people and the boss told the worker take 100 out and give it to me. I was so worked up that they forgot to give me utensils that came with the food. Unbelievable......how would you react when you go to the place you ordered food for 100 people and you paid for the food already and they tell you...."oh some one picked it up already." Iges is great always good fast service and great food huge portions at great prices makes this hole-in-the-wall joints one of the best options in aiea. They known for their roast pork, shoyu pork, beef stew, and other plates. I mostly get the ‘ala carte’ option. I have my own rice at home I make good rice like “nishiki” or “tamaki gold”. I like their chicken/pork adobo and their spare ribs adobo is awesome no one else has those anywhere on island. Each day has a different special and main course from Tuesday-Fridays. The food was on point! Roast pork tender with good seasoning and the chicken was great too and not dry. Gravy was good with enough seasoning and not too salty and a good base.
