Arrived an hour before closing, ordered Cajun combo #3. Took 30 minutes for the food to arrive. King crab legs-shell were hot but the meat inside was cold. Crawfish were cold, butter sauce hot, exterior of potatoes were warm inside cold, corn was soggy and core was cold as if cooked in the morning and sitting in water all day. Halfway through the meal, staff started mopping with what smelled like straight bleach. Asked the person doing the mopping to stay away from us because the bleach was noxious. Was told to leave if I don’t like it. After the meal, received a wet nap, I asked for more since my hands were still greasy, was told they only give 1 per person. So, I went to the bathroom to wash my hands, staff stopped me and told me to put my mask on. I told her my mask is in my pocket and I don’t want to get butter and spicy sauce on my clothes from my hands, that they wouldnt give me an extra wet nap. Whoever the young employee was “threatened with police and kick me out”. I told her to go ahead and call them. Turned out to be an empty threat, because police never showed up. I paid for my meal, which they “accidentally over-charged and voided” then gave me a new credit card bill to sign. Needless to say no tip. I didn’t take out my frustration with them because they’re “just doing their job” but a little “common sense” and civility would have gotten them a tip and a...
Read moreLet me say this first. This restaurant used to be my to-go place for crab and other seafood. And they also have very yummy new york steak for lunch only. It was one of my favorite. It has been quite a few months since I ate there the last time. I don't remember it ever being so horrible. The steak looked smaller than ever and had absolutely no flavor. I ordered spice level volcanic with garlic butter to go with my seafood. The bag came with barely any sauce in it let along volcanic. There was barely any spice! I usually scoop all the sauce from the bottom of the bag and put it in my rice. And i could barely scoop any this time. I also found few blanken shrimp mixed in there. See photo attached. You'd think if they see spoiled ones they at least have the decency to take it out? Nope, just put them in anyways and hope I don't notice them. The best thing about that experience is the popcorn chicken and cajun fries. AT A SEAFOOD PLACE!!! Will not come here again. This place used to be great! It's a shame to leave it. You guys need to go back to how you used to manage this place. I'll look for another place for crab in...
Read moreI ordered the fried catfish, I thought it would be crispy but this batter is soft and chewy. I told the waiter/waitress that I didn't like the texture. Before I could finish my sentence, I was informed they can't take it back, they could only replace it with chicken wings. I ordered a pound of King Crab instead, I didn't want wings nor did I expect to be given anything for free, I simply didn't like the texture of the catfish. Our bill came up to $168, which was much cheaper than I expected after dining at comparable restaurants. They still charged me for the catfish, even though it wasn't consumed. We ate everything else, it was delicious, it seemed so petty to charge for the catfish. I paid regardless, I didn't make a scene, I simply left $0.00 for a tip. This is a great example of a total lack of customer service. Their tip would have been 20 to 25% as I usually do, but they didn't deserve it. I'm still giving you a 4 because the seafood and sauces we had were delicious, the experience however...
