Ohana BBQ & Sushi — Restaurant in Oʻahu

I've been coming here for years, it's been a little tradition for me and my mom to drop in for some food any time she comes back to visit O'ahu. I haven't been back here for years but I came back tonight to grab some food and the owners and their daughter (i believe) were so happy to see me. The experience made me feel whole and so good inside. It's not long before these hole in the wall old school food places start disappearing. Appreciative of the smiles, awesome food, and soul I feel every time I visit Ohana sushi. I recommend trying it out if you haven't before, make it a tradition and i doubt you'll be disappointed. Restaurant has respectful and prompt service. But, there food quality is avarage to pretty good, nothing I would place into the steller category.

There add-ons to the main meal are definitely not appetizing. I requested more rice instead.

Decided to go with the beef, chicken, shrimp, omelet combo which the beef was the highlight.

Anyway, sucks how quality food is becoming more expensive, even though we live in an age of incredible abundance...

I only ordered the Spicy Ahi Doburi and ½ a pound of Spicy Ahi, which was both delicious. They do got many options and I endure to try them. I like this place for now but I'm sure when I taste more of the food, I might come to love it. Check it out when you're yearning for some sushi or even some bbq like kalbi or chicken.
