We went there when the condo we were staying at had a power outage. This place still had power and were trying to deal with the a larger crowd than they might normally get. They could only take cash due to their WiFi being down, and one grumpy customer was yelling at them to give him free coffee because he had no cash and was apparently a regular. Whatever…

Pros: They use Lion coffee which is good. The mocha and the cappuccino we ordered were good and came out fast enough.

Service was friendly and nice, despite the rude customer.

Con’s: The food, like the big “S” chain, is pre-made and frozen and isn’t very good. Blah. If you’re really hungry, then buy it, but if you have other food options then skip it.

Went on a delightful date with my daughter at Kohala Coffee Co. today, and we were blown away! We tried the maple donut cold brew and caramel frappe—absolute perfection! 🍩☕ The chocolate chip cookie, chocolate butter croissant, and biscuit egg sandwich were also out of this world. My daughter rated it a 10 out of 10! 🌈

But the real MVP? Richard! This guy is a superhero in a barista apron. Despite the crowd going from a tranquil calm to a bustling rush, Richard kept his cool and his smile never wavered. 😄 You’re lucky to have him, Kohala Coffee Co.! Kudos, Richard! We’ll be back for sure because of you! 👏👏

I’ve given this location multiple chances over the past few months, but unfortunately, my experience has been consistently disappointing. Over six visits, more than 70% of my orders have been incorrect—missing ingredients in sandwiches, wrong drink sizes, or the completely wrong drink altogether. It’s frustrating to have to check every item and often go back to have it fixed, especially when you’re in a rush.

The staff is usually polite, and I understand mistakes happen, but the frequency of errors at this location makes it hard to justify returning. I hope management takes this as constructive feedback and improves the quality control and...
