Truly LOVED my experience at Superbees Kona on Ali'i Drive in Kailua-Kona! The vibe is just so welcoming and genuinely local. JD has created something special here, using locally sourced ingredients. I was blown away by the iconic pineapple drink served in a whole Hawaiian Golden pineapple – it's incredibly refreshing and bursting with flavor, sweetened with JD's own hand-drawn raw honey. The milk tea, also sweetened with honey, was uniquely delicious. Make sure to have a cold, freshly opened local coconut: a must-do for your Hawaii bucket list. Local, raw honey has so many health benefits so, I could not leave without taking some home to share with my kids. They are so excited to have it. Raw honey has been a regular part of our family’s diet and we all agree that Superbees Kona is the best, hands down. This shop is a must-visit for anyone looking for the freshest, and genuinely local refreshments in Kona. Highly, highly recommend!"

Fun place with fresh juices made from fresh fruits. Selection will vary on stock. This place offers fresh coconuts and fresh squeeze juices that are prepared on demand. You sip your juice and then when you are done, JD (the owner) will crack the coconut open for you so you can enjoy the meat inside. Delicious. Also has local honey for sale. The honey come from his personal hive. Each jar of honey is sourced from a single hive. No mix. Depending on the season, and since the hive is closer to the shore than other beepkeepers, the honey offered has different flavor from the tropical flowers that are used by the bees. Milk tea also available. Super friendly. Definitely recommend it.

What a little oasis this place is. Fresh local coconuts, on the spot pressed juices and delicious milk tea are some of their offerings. A lot of thought seems to go into ingredient sourcing as well - particularly their honey. They practice slow, smoke-free beekeeping with small batch harvesting so we can have delicious delicious honey while supporting bee-friendly practices. 10/10 would recommend Update June 2025: There are a few new items - the made to order pineapple smoothie was not only delicious but so so so cute!
