Carnitas Zamora Bros — Restaurant in Hawthorne

Came in because I was craving something. Anything to eat and nothing else was really open near her except this place

First time here, so little to no expectations. Walked in and immediately greeted by a lovely older lady working behind the counter and was kindly told to pick a table so she would bring me my food.

Got a Carnitas Plate, the presentation of the food along with and the atmosphere of the place reminds me just like if I had stepped in my grandma's house

And the food tasted like that too. Tender, juicy, flavorful, fresh tortillas to make tacos out of the food with. Completely ignored the onions and cilantro because I was just that hungry

But I'd 100% come here again just fore the experience between service, food and the atmosphere

I order carnitas and chicharron with a side of salsa Roja to take, the salsa was bad it tasted like it was going bad and as in it was already old I spended $55 , I threw the salsa away could of went back but didn't because I was already home and hungry , too much of a drive to be honest . Some of the carnitas where moist and some very vey dried as if they mix the old ones with the freshly made . Chicharron was 7/10 ....I came to this place because my husband cousin said it was good , I'm assuming he does not know what good carnitas taste like !! We all know old carnitas are dried and new moist , i went to this place at 12 pm remind u they shouldnt be dried because i didnt came late.... First time coming and won't...

We showed up late right before they closed up, they stayed opened just for us, the menu was limited since they sold out on a lot of their items, my girl and I got some of the best carnitas and birria tacos, the people behind the counter were so cool, and I'm so glad we stopped at place, if you in town for game or concert at Sofi, GO! you won't be disappointed, I'm from San Diego, so when I tell you it's good then it's good, so go now stop reading this and go, are you...
