Naked Fish — Restaurant in Hayward

It's not what it used to be. 10 years ago, the owners were still working in the restaurant. The food was amazing! Everyone of the waiters were were awesome at their job, and the cooks were fantastic! My family made it a point to go there every Sunday after church and every birthday celebration we had.

Now when I walk through those doors, the waitresses are rude. They have more make up on they do manners! The tables are sticky, the food is less than decent and the cooks are mediocre. One of the waitresses even came up to our table asking if we had a personal problem with her because we only tipped $5. So my fiance took the tip back and asked the waitress if she would like change instead, haha.

We were faithful customers for almost 15 years, not anymore. Naked fish is a disgrace of what they used to be. We haven't been back since and if they don't do something about their food and employees, I guess we'll have to find a...

The food was ok, not the best, more like affordable, had them couple time. Last night we have some sashimi and some rolls, my wife and I had them, but I didn't take the salad, my wife later the night had belly ache, suspecting food poisoning, only guess was, I didn't take the salad that came with the sashimi, we both ate the same things except the salad, maybe the salad not clean? I don't want to blame so I still kept the 4 stars, the portion was a lot bigger in the past and was way cheaper, now the portion became smaller, price went up, I had more choice around my area now, can't blame them but it is what it is. Also not sure if miso soup is only for dine in but I ordered the combo but didn't have the soup on togo order, no big deal though but would be nice to have. And here are the menu for people's...

Second time eating here… called in an order 15 mins to closing, 8:45pm today October 19th and came to pick my food up, got home… opened the bag and noticed something brown underneath my food….. it was a BIG DEAD ROACH IN MY BAG, along with my sushi! I drove back and brought them the bag, told them to open it and they seen it theirselves, all they kept saying was how SORRY they were… I still can’t believe this happened. They told me that never happened before and the bags came from China so that’s probably what it was but when you open the bag to put my food in there, you guys didn’t notice!????

I was too scared to even take a picture. At least I got my money back but still, DISGUSTING!!! It’s a good place but I’m so traumatized now I WON’T EVER...
