Round Table Pizza — Restaurant in Hayward

I get an early lunch so I arrived about 10 minutes after they opened (11:10 am). I went to order but they have taken down all the pricing info on the pizzas other than the lunch special. I looked at that for a moment and noted that they did not serving the buffet until 11:30 am so I continued to look for the pricing of the various pizza sizes. The employee pointed to some sit down restaurant looking menus (you now have to dig to find out how much a pizza is going to set you back). As I grabbed it she said that they were going to have the buffet up in about 15 minutes if I wanted to get that. Being that I was already a bit flustered from the lack of pricing postings and her clear desire to be done with me, I said okay. She did not ring me up. She instead wandered to the back. I sat down to wait and thought that maybe the register wouldn't do it since it didn't start until 11:30 am as clearly the salad bar was ready so I could start with that if she had been willing to ring me up. At 11:24 she unlocked the door to the patio section. At 11:25 she turned the radio on and it started out at an relatively obnoxiously loud level. Ordering would require raising my voice at that point had she been ready. Then a moment later, she doubled the volume. It was excruciatingly loud, forcing me to leave after having waited patiently to be able to order my lunch for 1/3 of the time I had to be...

Ordered pizza from here on Sunday morning. The cashier had multiple mishearings. And that's fine I dont really mind because telephone connections. The operator was really rude and uninviting. I had to repeat my order multiple times to get it right. So after my order is complete, I just got hung up on without any bye or anything. Never received an estimation on when the order will be there . Usually every place I order from will update on how long itll take. Fast forward an hr and a half later I get the delivery. The driver is also unfriendly and he hands me cold pizza, cold food items. And just left without saying anything. No personal skills at all. Opened my pizza and thank God that was correct. The garlic bread came out wrong and the ranch spilled all over the bag making everything in it unusable. Called back and they said they couldnt do anything about it. After talking to them more they finally budgeted with a partial refund and then hung up abruptly. As a former round table employee, this is one of the worst experiences I've had with a pizza place. I will not be returning and will even drive out to another one to stay away from this round table pizza. I'd advise for you to do the same if you rather would support a company that...

Horrible customer service. I called in my order and when I went to pick it up, the two women behind the register didn’t greet me and brushed me off. They seemed flustered with the register, so I was patient and gave them a moment. I went back to the counter and another woman walked in. The woman behind the counter started immediately assisting her with her order. I spoke up for myself and was given the excuse that she was there to just pick up. I said that I was too and she reluctantly started helping me. This interaction felt racist and being treated like I don’t exist is not okay.

UPDATE: Due to my review I was contacted by corporate and also the store manager. I replied to the manager’s email and never heard from him again. Corporate tried reaching out to the manager as well to follow up and were also not successful. This restaurant is managed by someone with poor follow through who doesn’t appear to care or appreciate its customers. I will never be eating here again.
