Steak 'n Shake — Restaurant in Hazelwood

Came in this pass Saturday and had the worse service. There was only 3 others parties in the restaurant we waited for 10 minutes before asking who I server was. Was then told it was the manager but the manager was in the kitchen so all of the other service walked right past us knowing that this with her table and never bothered to let her know nor does take the table and place the order for us. In that time I saw three drive-through people come in because the orders were messed up. Next a large party of probably 7 to 10 people came in to eat and then tire time I watched the mother of the family go behind the counter to get pictures of ice water refill her soda drinks grab silverware and all the condiments walk up to the window to let someone know the she didn't get something or something was wrong with her order she should've been put on payroll that night my food took after placing the order set about 20 to 30 minutes to come out and it wasn't until I call for the manager and started to complain that someone harried up and brought my food out which was sitting in the window cold and nasty. Another family had to get up more than once because half of his food didn't come out they forgot to place his order but brought his wives food. Now a group of young girls came in and sat at their friends table their food only took 5-10minutes to come out I want to why. The service was horrible the servers were rude and ignorant all they did was gossip and chitchat with their friends you had girls that work there but where not on shift they just came up to hand out and were distracting the cooks with the conversation and the manager did nothing I will never go back to...

Worst service I have ever had...especially at a Steak n Shake...I walked in with my grandson...4 yrs old...who was hopping around...but even that didn't get their attention...when the waitress finally came over...I asked for a booth...there were lots of smaller ones...but I wanted to sit next to my grandson...so I needed a bigger one...she brought me over to a smaller one...it was dirty...so I said...this one is no good! I went to another one...it was also dirty! The bigger booths had dirty dishes on them...three booths...so I said...please clean one for me...and I helped... then I sat down and looked at the menu...I ordered...the food was cold...the French fries were hard...and I had chili too...that was cold too...my double burger came with cheese...but it came to me...without the cheese...so the cook tells the girl to put it on it...she wasn't able to...so he told her to take the top off and she used her hands to handle my food...she held the bun and top burger in her hand...while he put a cold piece of cheese on it...she put the burger and bun back on...and then just walked the not even ten feet to my table and gave it to me...it was very cold and just terrible...I just threw it out!!! The waitress put the receipt next to my plate...said nothing to me...I took it up to the register...with my coupon and paid...even left a small tip...against my better judgement...that's just me! I have never had an experience like this at a SteaknShake...don't patronize this location...maybe they wIll get the idea...if nobody...

Worst experience at a Steak N Shake ever! We walked in and stood there waiting to be seating while waitresses walked right by us and didn't even acknowledge us. Finally, our waitress Toni, came up and said are you waiting to be seated. We said yes and she asked if we wanted a booth. I said sure. She replied, "well I was just asking because that means I have to clean one." After staring at her with a blank face she said, "well I guess it is my job". She handed us the menus and said to walk over while she cleaned the booth. We sat down, looked at the menu and waited to place our order. Toni walked back and stood there starring at us. My boyfriend asked her if she was ready and she stated she's ready when we are. We placed our orders and the food came out shortly after. When the food arrived I asked the server for silverware... The server shouted to the waitress and the waitress, Toni, walked to our table. She said, "now you know that's finger food". I looked down at my cheese fries and asked if I could get a fork. She then said," well im gonna have to roll your silverware. Can I just bring it out to you on a napkin?" I said sure and could not believe the laziness of these employees at this restaurant. Meanwhile, and elderly group waited at least ten minutes just for drinks to be brought to them. The man on the other side of the booth had to go up to the drink station and ask for a refill and walk up to the front for a to-go box. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. DO...
