Users beware when ordering.

Ordered some candy to be delivered out of state. When it arrived, there were ants all over it. In no way do I think they allowed this to happen but between shipping it and arriving… it happened.

So I call to find out if they can do anything. They advised I’d have to take it up with the post office since it left their facility totally fine. I had to ask for things like how much it was insured for. The order number. They had email me nothing. They never asked me for a contact when I ordered and if they did they didn’t send me anything.

So now I’m waiting for my claims with usps to get approved.

Other retailers would take it on the chin and process the claim ON THEIR SIDE and not make the customer do it.

I was shocked when I said “could you do a replacement order or something?” And they said “well we would never send it out like that so you’ll have to go to the post office”.

For the future, it would make sense to email customers tracking numbers. You may look into putting things in an air tight bag or even a gallon ziplock bag. Tape corners so critters can’t get in. They literally too the candy and just put it in a box. Train your staff to...

I wish I could give a negative star!!! The emoyees at Goumas are extremely rude and very unprofessional!! I purchased 18 milk chocolate covered strawberries for $45, I pre-ordered and paid for them last week. I went in today,the scheduled pick up day after 10 Am, 020519, they were not even ready yet. While I was waiting for them to complete the order, I saw a sign in the case that said 24 chocolate covered strawberries boxed and bowed for $36. I asked about that deal and wanted to change my order from 18 to 24 since I paid more for 18 @$45.00. They advised that sign was wrong, I requested that they honor that deal, what they clearly was advertising for, and they refused!! I took a picture of the sign in their candy case, they said it was in error but would not honor giving me the deal that they were promoting. They ripped the sign up in front of me and very rudely, gave me my strawberries, gave me $5 back and told me "Now go away". I was astounded, and they received a few choice words from myself as well!! THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT!! THEY HAVE ATROCIOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

The moment you step in the door the smells will make you want to buy everything! They have a large selection of candy. We went in for the caramel apples. They are the best around by far. They have ones made with no peanuts and with peanuts as well as Buckeye ones that are covered in chocolate. They are $5 each and the Buckeye ones are $6. All the delicious items are on the expensive side. But you do get what you pay for and it’s worth the price. Their salted caramels are incredible as well. I haven’t tried anything I didn’t like.
