I feel very fortunate that Dr. Janine Flood has been my optometrist for several decades. She is exceptionally knowledgeable and is very dedicated to on-going education and staying current on new developments in treatments and procedures for a multitude of eye diseases and problems. I appreciate this first hand because I need care for extreme myopia, glaucoma, cataracts, astigmatism, dry eye and macular degeneration. She and her staff do an excellent job of administering all necessary tests to keep up on changing eye conditions to determine if treatment changes or a new prescription would be helpful. Dr. Flood has been outstanding in sharing information and options with me in meaningful and clear terminology and has been responsive to any questions I have had over the years. She refers me to highly regarded specialists when appropriate and does an exceptional job of communicating with them and with me about any procedures or changes in treatment. I have also appreciated the very efficient way that the office is run by friendly and helpful personnel. There is very little wait time, and during this time of Covid, the office is set up to be as safe as humanly possible while still being welcoming. I have really enjoyed the staff and would like to give a special shout out to Taylor, who went out of her way (without even being asked) to ensure that I was able to obtain a needed eye medication in spite of obstacles just prior to going out of town. I had a great experience at the office ! I saw Doctor Wolfe by recommendation of my dad , he is great !! I also had and issue with my insurance through VSP which was not a problem with the office it was actually VSP's issue they didn't actually have me enrolled on a policy that I'd been paying for a year on. Also they never sent out an ID card to prove I had it. I had already had my eye exam and it was a Saturday they did not ask for me to pay everything 100% right on the spot as if I did not have insurance. They said they would call 1st thing Monday and figure it out ! And would get back to me so I could get my contacts ordered and figure out what I really owed as far as what they paid towards the exam and contacts. Well between several calls to my insurance agent and VSP and the Indian mound eye clinic they figured it all out for me , they did the leg work in this situation while I worked ! And a few days later they had answers , I was able to order my contacts and pay what insurance didn't cover !! I am very happy they took care of it for me one and two that they didnt hassle me about paying for everything right then and there until it was taken care of. Thanks again , and I'll see...

Yesterday I called to get an appointment for a new eye exam after seeing a different office a few months ago. I was then able to get In The very next day being Today! My experience today was well above any expectations I had walking in. The staff was very friendly from start to finish. However what set the appointment was the sensarity I received from Dr Millyard. He truly listioned to my concerns and then looked deeper into my issue, not just brushing it aside to something that would go away. Then for the first time in 10 years (my last time in this practice due to ins change) I was given a diagnoses for my eye strain. I am very pleased with my over all experience from walking in and talking with the girls about glasses to checking out with my next appointment .
