Jade's Cafe — Restaurant in Heber

You won't see my name beside many restaurant reviews in Heber Valley because many of them are mediocre at best and I don't go out of my way to say mean things. NOT JADES.

This is the cafe our valley has been missing and my "used to live in the city" self has been craving for YEARS since moving here. It's a trendy, delicious, elevated cafe the valley has been missing.

The food is unique, every dish we've tried has been delicious and it all has a special twist (unlike the plentiful boring/basic diners in town) that leaves you craving a specific dish and coming back soon.

The ambiance is perfect–rustic meets refined. I appreciate they have a few high chairs to utilize and don't seem to mind camping out and working for a while. The staff and service are on-point already, not even 2 weeks into opening which exceeds all expectations.

Dishes we've loved so far: salmon toast (the salmon serving on it is massive), the breakfast sandwich, the bacon melt, the brie and blueberry pastry, and my husband's favorite is the breakfast quesadilla. The lattes have been delicious as well.

Is it dirt cheap? No. Is it the place to go for your basic two eggs breakfast you could have made at home? No Do I think a lot of Heber old timers will love it? Not at all. But if you are like us and you miss the elevated cuisine you may have found in other cities and you are willing to pay a little more for something it would be difficult to make at home - this is your spot.

Look out Heber, this place is about to have a permanent line out the door. Jade's Cafe serves up a creative, quality breakfast and lunch in a delightfully designed cozy space with welcoming staff.

When I walked in today with my sweetie, I don't think either of us anticipated the remarkably high level of quality and friendliness we would encounter. The first thing I said was, “Wow, this place is so cute!” as I was so pleased at the thoughtfulness put into creating such an overall unique space. I noticed a humble amount of much deserved pride the owner held as more customers came in during our visit.

Their coffee is perfection- they use Stumptown so duh, it's freaking good:) but this is so much more than a coffee house. I ordered the Oat Pancakes (drool worthy & amazingly delicious) and bf had the Biscuits & Gravy (jaw dropping at first sight, non traditional, loved the chili sauce drizzle on top). We felt fancy at an order-at-the-counter style restaurant having brunch in our hoodies.
