I ate at this location with my family on January 1,2021. My husband and I ordered a Pizza and my sister and her family ordered 3 burgers and a salad. It took 10 minutes for our pizza and 45 minute for my sisters food. I overheard a guests complaints to what I THOUGHT was a manager about the wait time (they had been waiting for 50 minutes). I approached and said I wanted to make a complaint as well as we had been waiting a long period of time. The gentleman that was representing the company said "listen lady....this isn't a fast food restaurant". I told him I knew that but service is better at a 5 star location. He proceeded to tell me that it didn't matter what I thought and that thats how it was. I asked him for his name and he scoffed at me. I said are you a manger? He said...no...I'm the owner puffed his chest out and got close to my face (he's a tall man). I said well I want my money back NOW since we were still waiting on half an order to come out (we had just received a salad and one burger at that point, my husband and I had already ate our pizza-that was cold as we waited 20 minutes hoping the burger would be soon to follow). I let the manager know that the Midvale location never took this long to get your order and if they did they told you a wait time. The OWNER of this location was VERY proud to let me know that the midvale location was going out of business (I’m not certain why he took such pride in this information). I can't even tell you if the food was good as we ended up with a cold pizza while waiting for the rest of the food to arrive. What poor...
Read moreWe ate pizza and fries for an early dinner. The pizza tasted like a red barrons pizza to me with a thin crust that was kind of hard and crusty. The sauce was kind of spicy imo too. Fries were just frozen fries and adequate but nothing special. Food was delivered quickly.
4 total employees working. 2 cashiers/servers and 2 cooks. Both cooks wore masks on their chins(not over their mouth) and didn't seem to care about the ongoing pandemic. The cashiers wore them correctly though.
We saw one cook (after we got our food) deliver food to friends/family waiting in a car, no mask on anyone in car and we watched him touch the car and members in the car then go back inside. Giving him the benefit of the doubt I assume he washed his hands but he didn't put his mask back over his mouth and nose once inside and didnt have it on greeting his party in the car. This prompted me to look at the kitchen floor more closely. I would say it was not clean for a 5pm Friday afternoon. Bowls of dried sauces near the oven looked like they were there all day. Food was on the floor and the areas looked like they could have been cleaned.
I was more or less grossed out and kind of frustrated given the situation we are all in. We will not be back here...
Read moreI really couldnt decide to give this store a 2 or a 3 star, I decided to give it a 2 star after thinking over my entire visit. The main thing that really actually made me mad was the fact that they charge you $3.50 to add fries and a drink then they skimp out on the fries ( I dont care much about the size of the drink if I'm dining in, but it could have been a bigger cup). Another thing that confused me is the fact that there is an option on your receipt to "tip" right out of the gates right as you order your food and it recommends tipping percentages. Leading you to believe you are going to have a server. (Which you dont). All they do is take your order and drop the food off to you. The food was okay, but the quality was nothing special. Cheap ground beef burger patties. Mine wasnt even a patty, it was closer to just ground beef, it wasnt well shaped so it was falling apart. I do think this place has potential but a couple of these things really actually ruined the...
