Would not recommend even simple services performed at Les Schwab Tire Center. I had to swap a winter set of wheels + tires for an all season set of wheels + tires and had a very bad experience for three reasons: 1. Safety: Tires in front and rear positions did not have appropriate amounts of air. Likely they didn't check the air pressure of the tires at all and what you brought in is what you get. Make sure to check your air pressure after getting service here or it can be a safety issue while driving. 2. Tire Maintenance: Front + Rear tires had different amounts of tread on them, and the techs mixed them when they put the set on. This will cause unnecessary wear on the tires going forward. Good business model for Les Schwab to sell you more tires but bad for you. 3. Pricing: Swapping wheels + tires in my experience typically costs ~$75-100 and ~$100 is what they'll charge to swap + balance if you ask them. Unfortunately if your wheels are 18"+ they charge you $200 which is expensive in my opinion. Make sure you're very clear on exactly what you need or you might be surprised at the charge. In full disclosure, I did call the manager to complain and he offered to fix it which is nice, but we're shipping the car out so will not follow up on that offer. If you choose to use this service, make sure to look out for the points above!

āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø Absolutely Outstanding Service – Worth the Drive from Vernal! I was recently in Heber, Utah, when I noticed one of my rear tires rapidly losing air. In a bit of a panic, I pulled into Les Schwab, and before I had even fully stopped, a young man ran out from the shop, jacked up my car, removed the tire, patched it, and had me on my way—all within minutes. I was fully prepared to pay, and I even tried to, but the young man simply said, ā€œOh no, we complete tire repairs for free. We treat our customers very kindly and very well.ā€ And he meant it. Mind you—these tires weren’t even purchased there. But they didn’t hesitate. They treated me like family. Kind, courteous, fast, and professional. I left not just impressed, but truly touched by their kindness and efficiency. I live in Vernal, and after this experience, I would gladly drive to Heber any time I need tire service just to give these people my business. They are that good and that kind. Thank you to the Heber Les Schwab team—you turned a stressful situation into an uplifting one. I’ll be back, and I’ll be telling everyone I know!

I have been getting my 4runner and Wrx serviced here for a couple of years. Very friendly staff but I have encountered the following issues. Had oil changed in the wrx when I got it back I had an oil leak, took it back and was told there’s no issue, took it back again after a couple days and they replaced the oil plug, fixed the issue. This also happened again the next year, had a leak after getting an oil change and had to go back a few days later and wait 1.5 hours for them to replace the drain plug. Took 4runner in for oil change after I picked it up the red oil light was on and the engine sounded like it was running rough, checked oil and it seemed to have barely any oil in it. Took it back the next day and had to sit for 2 hours til they filled it with oil again. Opened the hood a two days later to find an oil can wedged under oil filter (pic attached). Maybe I’m just unlucky but it seems that they need some quality control. I will have to find another shop to service my vehicles.

Recently I took on the project of replacing all of the bushing in my suspension. To do so, I have to take apart all of the front and rear suspension components, which in an of itself ruins the vehicles previous alignment. Going into the project knowing that I would need an alignment afterwards, I didn't worry about the orientation of the eccentric bolts that determine the alignment of the vehicle, which meant there was a visible difference in my camber, being a -3.5 to -1.6 degree difference between the driver and passenger side. I decided to set up an appointment with Les Schwab to get a 4-wheel alignment, as well as use their free shock/strut/suspension inspection, to determine if there was anything else that I would need to take care of on my vehicle. I dropped the vehicle off at about 2:50ish for the appointment, and didn't get a response till almost 5, which seemed normal, as it would make sense for an alignment and inspection to take that long. Once I received a phone call, the technician on the other side of the phone had informed me that my vehicle was unable to have an alignment done, as there mustve been some sort of wreck with my car, bending my control arms 2 degerees out of place. I tried talking with the technician and asked if he could adjust the camber to be as close to the other wheel as possible, but he told me my camber was not adjustable on my vehicle. I had to physically explain to him part-by-part that my upper control arm had eccentric bolts in it, allowing for adjustable camber, to which he tried to back down on, and tell me it would not be physically possible to fix. he mentioned that as a safety concern, if he was unable to do a proper alignment, he wouldn't attempt at all, meaning he wasn't willing to go back and look at my suspension to properly adjust it, even after explaining to him that it is fully adjustable. even then, they didn't conduct the inspection that I had also requested, which would've also shown that the upper control arms also had eccentric bolts, allowing for my alignment to be handled properly. once I had gone to pick up the vehicle, the service desk alerted me that my control arm was bent and would either need to be replaced with aftermarket parts, or that I would need to see a dealership to take care of the issue. knowing exactly what the problem is, the moment I got home, I lifted the rear of my vehicle, and adjusted the wheel myself, to be within, .5 degrees of the other wheel, using just a carpenter's level to adjust the difference, which is absolutely crazy of me to do, as apparently its impossible to adjust my camber, especially with a vehicle that MUST have a bent control arm.

For me to have to explain to the technician how to fix my own car, when it is his line of work and just a hobby to me, is quite ridiculous. I just wanted an alignment and to know what else I would need to do to my suspension, and instead, I was waiting for two hours just to be told it wasn't possible, and that they wouldn't be able to work on my vehicle at all. I applaud their intent for safety, but they were incredibly unknowledgeable in their own field. would definitely avoid, if you need actual work to be done to...

I am front out of town and was experiencing issues with my brakes while pulling a full large horse trailer. While at the rodeo in Heber we thought we’d take our trailer to Les Schwab which is normally a go to place for me when experiencing problems with tires and wheels. We told them please check the brakes. While you’re at it let’s do the oil change and rotate tires. They had our pickup Thursday-Friday. We did get a text on Thursday to call Liz. My husband called and they told him oh we didn’t realize it was a dually it will be extra $$ to rotate tires and we said ok. We heard nothing else and called Friday and they said yes it’s done. We went to pick it up and they said it was $359 and then handed me a quote to replace brakes, rotors, calipers, and the works on the front tires for $1,100. Ok, people!! We brought the truck because I’m pulling a heavy load of horses from out of town and told them the problem, said it’s done and the problem never got fixed!! If I knew the cost to fix the problem that is a for sure concern for safety pulling mountain passes to get home I’d have you fix the problem and not spend $359 for things I could do later. They told me they called me but I do not have any missed calls or voicemails. The only text we had was to call Liz on Thursday. If you go to the Les Schwab in Heber just be ware to ask 2 -3 times what the cost is and if they are addressing the problem and ask for the quotes. Don’t count on something being fixed when you get there and they might not even let you know the price.

I’m sure their work is fine at least I’m hoping except my air pressure in 4 out of 6 tires is now low and that’s not great when pulling...

I was staying at a rv park in Heber and needed to run down to Walmart to grab a few things for dinner. When my daughter and granddaughter got to the truck to leave my tire sensors told me that my front drivers side tire had suddenly went from 40 to 11 lbs of pressure. Thinking it was a miss read I pulled over to find it wasn’t and my front tire had all of a sudden gotten a flat. There was a Les Schwab tire store in the same parking lot so I limbed over and went inside and asked it they could help. The lady behind the counter said they were not taking anymore appointments today so I went out and started changing the tire to the spare in their parking lot. A few minutes later, one of the mechanic came out and told us to go and wait in the waiting room and he could swap out the spare for us. After getting my daughter and granddaughter in the waiting room I went out and talked with him. Just so happens he had recently moved his family from Ogden area after prematurely selling his house and had been commuting from Ogden to Heber and he was living in the same rv park we were staying in . He offered to fix the tire and bring it ā€œhomeā€ with him and drop it off at my site OR he said he would be in at 7am and I could bring the truck back then and he’d switch it out. I opted to bring it back. Later that evening I ran into him again in the swimming pool with his whole family and he said he had gotten the tire fixed before leaving his shop that night and it was ready for me in the morning to pick up. Swing by at 7am this morning g and he had me back on the road 5 minutes later. I failed to get his name but he was a great help and a great...
